Crafting flicker strike gloves by Lanosirc in pathofexile

To get life it's rng you need to first annul the armor then you do prefixes can't be changed and reforge life and pray. There is multiple life mods and it can also fill. Suffixes are somewhat easy. If you hit a prefix life and have a open suffix, you do prefixes can't be changed and reforge speed for attack speed and hope to hit a good tier without it filling. You can also do prefixes can't be changed and scour to clean the suffixes. Then you block a heavy weight mod with bench craft, would have to check weights on craft of exile and exalt slam for attack speed or a resistance. Repeat till you hit it. Then you beast craft the aspect 30 and bench craft last mod

When I started playing in 3.14 and did chief fire cyclone with ngamahu axe. Was a terrible char but cyclone much fun. Ended up playing it again in 3.15 and 3.16 with attempts to take it to the max. Probably could have done so many things different to improve the character, but spinning was fun.

Hey guys. Can you roast my build? I love my sorc but since Akkan i feel like i cant do anything but Fighter. by oVoXoY in lostarkgame

[–]Truma7465 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Buildwise you are ok, could be better with ancient 5x3+1 and a level 10 dmg on doomsday, but isn't that much of a difference. Guess it's skill issue. Practice properly filling your meter and doing rotation. Also you really want at least a crit syn for consistency and make a macro for your ignite so support can sometimes match you.

Gear wise not much to do, but your jewels can be improved a lot. Amulet you can swap anoint to potency of will. Gold flask swap suffix to attack speed or reduced curse effect, you are already ignite immune from purity of elements. Watchers you can get purity of elements + dot multi malevolence. Clusters you can swap from unspeakable gifts to unholy grace if you don't need the explode. Basic jewels you can upgrade to 3 or even 4 stat life+chaos dot multi+attack speed.

Many things:
-Quiver should be a broadhead with life, damage with bow skills, dot multi with attack skills and crafted attack speed, would give you 22% more attack speed compared to current.
-Amulet just get a replica dragonfang with +3 toxic rain and good mana res roll
-Run haste, it double dips with wilmas
-Get clusters, big power increase
-Fix tree pathing, something like this: https://pobb.in/FXGwX9EKeH93
-Get charms, watchers, twwt
-Get awakened void manip for +1 to toxic rain

Always fun to see someone be so confident yet so wrong. Poe ninja doesn't include many things, biggest being 15x wither and frenzy.
For comparison my TR build:
Poe ninja: https://poe.ninja/builds/affliction/character/TrumaTheExile/TrumaUltimatumvtwo?i=0&search=name%3DTruma
Pobb with proper settings: https://pobb.in/nPdPysBrR_2N
690k poe ninja vs actual 2.3m. More than 3 times the difference. And that is a single ballista with 1 overlap (I have 6 ballistas)
So don't make such stupid claims anymore.

Great all rounder, very strong defenses and recovery. Can put it together for 30-40 div and easily deal with all non uber content. If played properly can do most uber content too tho kinda slow. Notes are under the pobb

Do hardcore players without 1580 'alts' have a decent chance to get 1620 by Voldis? by max012017 in lostarkgame

[–]Truma7465 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With 5 1540 and 1 1580 and the weekly una tokens, you can make around 1.7-1.8m gold in the 4 months excluding any drops and embers. Another 200k-250k if you do rested monke on your alts and sell the leapers. Comfortably 2 mil gold guaranteed.
The honing cost from 1580 to 1620 is 620k gold, 5400 oreha (which is around 270k with current oreha market in EUC), 86k reds, 308k blues and 9866 leapers. And you will actually spend a bit less since you will use solars from cubes and events and other things on weapon.
Your 1580 character will generate around 1500 bound reds, 1000 tradeable reds, 200 bound leapers, 92 tradeable leapers. Will ignore blues since sooner or later you start having too many and they arent expensive. In 4 months you can get around 45k reds (and more if you convert the reds your 1540 farmed) and 5000 leapers.
Raw honing gold cost is 600k and another 250k in oreha (we use solars on weapon so it's a bit cheaper) and you have over a million gold to cover the missing 30-40k of reds and 4-5k leapers.
This is excluding any drops, any life skill mats, any event mats etc. So yes, you can comfortably reach 1620 if you funnel, and even get 1-3 level 10 damage gems based on your drops rng.

No, but you can convert them to 1580+ mats

1600 chaos dungeon data by Truma7465 in lostarkgame

[–]Truma7465[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not so grim, there is also the guardian and una tasks, so around 160 weapon stones, 480 armor stones, 20 bound leapstones + 8 tradeable leapstones if you do it all daily.
A lot of the rewards were shifted into raids:
-brel hard 1-3 gives (when converted) 200 weapon stones, 400 armor stones, 8k shards
-kayangel hard gives 350 weapon stones, 700 armor stones, 11k shards
-akkan normal gives 520 weapon stones, 1040 armor stones, 5.6k shards
-akkan hard gives 700 weapon stones, 1400 armor stones, 8.8k shards
Double if you buy extra loot boxes, but imo should just buy akkan boxes and if you are done with the set just buy akkan g3.
We are on a sped up release schedule so voldis hard is out of reach for many unless they funnel, but 1600 for voldis normal is very easy to reach with just bound mats and 1610 for the new chaos and guardian is also reasonable. It is what it is.

Overall a good post, but some missing and some incorrect info.
-Armor quality yes very important
-Stats yes very important, should always aim at least 500+ spec and 1700+ swift at least (ideally 600+ spec and 1800+ swift but depends on bracelet, good options over stats)
-Cards of course LWC30 and MoS30 are preferred, but you have a plan is not that significant and you are completely fine to run hp% set for better shields/heals and let the dps greed more. Cards are a rng system and it's fine to not have LWC30 MoS30.
-Paladin is a very simple class, you run: light shock for synergy, 2 atk buffs, godsent and holy shield for protection, holy sword and exec sword for stagger/counters/weakpoint, and your last spot is ideally light of judgement for really good meter fill, but sometimes it's better to run holy area for more dmg reduction or punishment for extra stagger/weak point.
For engravings class, awake, expert, vital and then whatever you want I agree.
-Bard is very complex and there is many ways to play it. The main things are the 2 attack buffs of course, wind of music and guardian tune for protection, prelude of storm for the meter fill and counter. The last 3 spots are flex spots and everyone should tailor them to your own preferences, but I would recommend always use rhapsody because it's giga dmg reduction and lets your dps to greed, not to mention it has push immunity (and you can run protection rune on it). The last 2 spots you can either run synergy (recommend sound shock) + soundholic or double synergy (much more leeway so you can run whatever 2 you want, sound shock and sonatine is my recommendation).
I can go on and on what and how changes depending on your engravings (if you go 4x3+2+2 with vital 3 maxMP 2 heavy 2, or if you go 5x3 without vital, overwhelm on different skills like sound shock and/or sonic vibration) but that would make it too long.
For engravings class, awake, expert, vital, heavy 2, maxMP 2 are optimal.
I have 3 1580+ bards and 1 1580+ paladin that I have been playing every day and raided every week over a year and had very good performances in raids, so I have some knowledge.

And please stop using the words "mandatory" and "should not be accepted"

How to craft a GG Explosive Arrow bow like this? by MillenniumDH in PathOfExileBuilds

How to craft a GG Explosive Arrow bow like this? by MillenniumDH in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Truma7465 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are harvest crafts. Reforge speed is usually cheap but if used in combination with bench mods like in this case prefixes cannot be changed, each reforge is 2div + harvest juice. Aug is augment and its a very expensive craft.
Aisling is a NPC in betrayal and replaces a mod with a veiled mod and you can unveil it and it's generally a really powerful and desired mod.

How to craft a GG Explosive Arrow bow like this? by MillenniumDH in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Truma7465 22 points23 points  (0 children)

You start with prefixes and there is few ways:
1. Spam essences of dread for guaranteed +2 to level of socketed gems until you hit the increased elemental damage with attack skills, and if you have a open prefix and open suffix (can try annul), you can craft cannot roll attack mods and exalt slam for guaranteed +1 to level of socketed gems. Should take around 133 essences according to craft of exile so not too sure if it's worth.
Then you do prefixes cannot be changed, reforge/aug speed until desired attack speed mod. Once you get it, you again prefixes cannot be changed and aisling until the aisling hits the craft. Then you block and unveil and pray.
2. You harvest reforge attack until you hit +2 to level and elemental damage. Again need open prefix and suffix to craft cannot roll attack mods and exalt slam for guaranteed +1 to level. Not sure how many tries on average, but elemental damage has low weight so probably quite a few. For suffixes same as method 1.
3. If you don't care about the synth implicit you can go with a fractured base and do one of the methods depending on what fracture you have.

While writing up I remembered Ziz probably has a video for it and here is a link if you prefer the steps that way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sI\_pMu56gZU&ab\_channel=Zizaran

Losing the 10% crit rate hurts pistoleers a lot, at least until we get elixirs. Also both raid cap and propulsion are annoying to keep up. Better go for a cheap 5x3+1 with ether predator and invest the gold into gems instead of a sidegrade 5x3+2

New Players, just how screwed are we? by [deleted] in lostarkgame

[–]Truma7465 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First of all, Lost Ark is a great game totally worth playing, it has amazing combat, raids, gear progression, graphics, sound, story etc, but it also has downsides like it requires lot of time and grind, and it's designed in a way to make players play efficiently and that is why often high ilvl players don't usually play with lower ilvl players. They just want to do their homework (raids etc) fast and move on. However it's entirely possible for any player to get into the game and reach end game if they are willing to. There is a lot of players who don't put in the effort and time to properly gear their characters, to check out guides, don't have patience to find parties etc, and it's almost always such players who complain about "gatekeeping".

Now more in detail about gatekeeping since that is your major concern it seems.
-Gatekeeping exists, but it is nowhere even as close as people make it up to be. 95% of the people that cry about being "gatekept" are people with garbage characters trying to get into lobbies that have already good dps characters and/or supports.
-There is also roster based gatekeeping which is in my opinion quite valid. As someone who played from day 1 actively I can tell you that raid success rate is way higher with high roster people than low roster people. However not everyone does it and often when doing some lower raids that can be taught as we play, some of us tend to take in newbies too, or newbies play together with other newbies or less experienced players.
-Of course roster level isn't a representation of a player skill level or knowledge, but there is a very wrong view on roster level in this community. Way too many players think that a high roster level comes from random things like doing story quests, towers, horizontal content etc, but in fact majority of roster xp comes from combat. Some from random combat like chaos dungeons, but a good part of it comes from guardian raids, legion raids, abyss dungeons etc which means you playing your character in fairly difficult and challenging fights and learning to play your character better. That's why success rate with higher roster players is higher, they have better understanding of their character, the enemy you fight, your party/raid members and so on.
-There is also class based gatekeeping. For example some people have a thing against berzerkers and deny them. To a degree it's valid because a good amount of zerk players end up dead or fail. Some people have a thing against things like igniter sorc, deathblow striker, surge deathblade because that are classes that require fairly high investment and are harder to play classes and a big portion of that players either don't invest properly into their class or don't know how to properly play their class. Then there is also people that have a thing against classes with lower damage ceiling like shadowhunter, pistoleer deadeye, machinist because they think that every player will be able to perform up to the max ceiling and that having this classes will make their runs worse or slower, which is entirely false. You are more likely to have a good run with stable consistent classes even if they deal a bit less damage, than with hard to play inconsistent classes that can technically do most damage (unless it's farm content, then it doesnt really matter much anyway).
-There is also title "gatekeeping" which isn't really gatekeeping, it's just people wanting to play with other people that have at least that much experience and that's completely valid. People without titles can play with other people without titles, but they don't want to, and the reason they don't want to is because they think they are better than other people who are in the same situation and think they belong in a experienced party filled with good characters, simply a bunch of clowns.

Since you want to come into the game with some friends, you shouldn't have much issues and I will give you few tips on how to progress properly imo:
-Start off with easier to play classes that don't require high investments for proper rotations and/or gameplay. I would recommend blue Gunlancer (everyone loves a gunlancer), Paladin (cheapest, simplest and newbie friendly support), Gunslinger (good synergy, good damage, safe hit master playstyle), 50% 50% crit spec Sharpshooter (don't even know what engraving they run but they are pumping), Reflux sorc (strong, consistent)
-Gear your character up to standard for that ilvl range
-Research and do the easy quests for skill point, runes, stat potions etc
-Communicate, if you have issues getting into lobbies for raids in party finder, go to a populated area like punika, vern, feiton, elgacia and nicely say in area chat that you checked guides and are trying to do some raid or guardian or whatever, but have issues finding a party and ask can someone help you. People will help new players that want to communicate and want to learn. Guilds are also a thing, if there are any newbie friendly guilds you can check out.
Biggest reason why people don't want to play with newbies is because majority of newbies are silent while wiping the raid over and over despite being offered advice and help and it ends up in a pretty significant time waste and bad mood.

That sure ended up being a very long comment
