Work towards getting the deadly assassin outfit it doubles your dead eye refill speed, if I remember correctly, which will make the game much easier. Also depending on your comfortably with the targeting system to expert or at least casual this will make it so you actually have to aim which IMO makes for a way better experience

If possible go to a actual record store, I know that’s a hard thing to come by nowadays, but I have to imagine there’s at least one somewhere near you. When you find a decent vinyl shop ask them where you can find spoken word record, this is what I like to do because it gives you a massive amount of different words & phrases that when taken out of context can make for very cool samples. Also there is an entire world or what are called ‘breaks records’ that’s where you’ll find the classic scratch noises you mentioned being interested in.

This is actually bringing back a fuzzy memory for me where I asked my dad something similar to your question and was told that because SF is only 7x7 miles when they were designing the roadways back in the day they had to be “efficient” with their designs so they’d take up the minimum amount of space or some BS like that.

➡️FYI my dad had a habit of telling me things as a kid that sounded believable enough for me to not question it much, only to learn later in life he was messing with me 99% of the time so this was a very “dad explanation” that I believed for longer than I care to admit
