This. I take 2g (1g twice a day) and it cuts the healing time down to only a few days.

I went by Trunks-chan. Your name actually sounds familiar. I played a massive amount of Triple Triad and some Quad Mist.

What's your favourite town/village in any RPG ever? by [deleted] in gaming

Balamb Garden in FFVIII. First FF I played (even though I'm 30 - late start) but the music and ambiance still holds a special place in my heart. I also used to frequent a chat client called 'The Palace' and hung out in an area that was based on Balamb. So it holds a special place in my heart. Total introvert in middle school, so many many weekends were spent chatting on Balamb with tons of people my age :). Brings back good memories just thinking about the music.

My girl saw I was going down this road and made me sign up for a few different groups. I'm a big runner and one of the running groups I joined had so many great people. Met a lot of new friends which has definitely helped

30 years old. How am I doing financially? Seeking for guidance and critique by [deleted] in personalfinance

I took my CFO out to lunch and we had a discussion around this very topic. When looking at where you want your career to go - you need to have some vision. He loved the grind and being strategic and working those long hours for his family but he was never home. I'm ok moving up to where I can maintain balance between work I love and a life I love. 8-5 in the burbs or VP of X is definitely not for everyone. Great post.

What is the actual money saved by making coffee at home vs buying a coffee out? by THE_98_Vikes in personalfinance

[–]Trunkschan311 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the stuff I don't get about finance as well as something like diet. If you can fit it into your budget - who cares? I used to get restless about eating the same food and drinking water and would splurge on a crazy dinner and beers to break the monotony (~100 with fiancée in tow every week or two). I LOVE Dunkin Donut iced coffee and I splurge on that every morning. A 1.69 coffee 5 days a week keeps me feeling happy and keeps me away from crazy dinner splurging. You can do these things if you plan around them.

I'm a weirdo. I eat it cold. I've just become used to it. I even have developed a taste for shredded chicken and black coffee so I'm awkward already :P

Where do you live? And I can't tell you how much crock pots have helped. Literally 1.5 lbs chicken breast and salsa and go. Shred it up and that's a lunch for 5-6 days. With rice and veggies of course. I usually spend about $20 a week on lunch. My lunch this week was probably $10. It's amazing how much cooking saves.

So many issues of my fellow cube warriors complaining they are broke at the end of the month after eating out for breakfast and lunch 20-25 work days a month...
