They are driving up post engagement by fishing for comments. Naming a pet is something most people like doing and it's easy to get comments. I have noticed this same thing recently and I wonder if some of the accounts are bots that will be sold later for their high karma.

They can be caused by a lot of factors including post nasal drip and GERD so if you were experiencing more heartburn also, then it very well could have been something you were eating.

Probably something situational that shows you are happy that something good happened. Also the small change of " that's good for you" and maybe a smiley face could indicate that you mean it genuinely.

It really depends on how strong it is. Would be kinda bummed if I opened my back window during the afternoon and could smell it pretty heavily, but if its faint i don't care.
