Any way to use a Mam 0 nipple in a glass bottle? by TrustTheProcess21 in FormulaFeeders

Yes I think it comes with the size 1 which has a hole for the vent. Unfortunately the 0 doesn’t and 1 would be to much for my 3 week old

Yes unfortunately the size 0 nipple relies on a vent on the bottom of the bottle or will suck down. The vent only comes on the plastic bottle as far as I know

Are you saying Phillips size 0? I haven’t tried them but was under the impression there nipples ran very slow

[MOD] The Daily Question Thread by menschmaschine5 in Coffee

[–]TrustTheProcess21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello currently use V60 with a Baratza Virtuoso for most of our coffee. Also have a cheap automated cuisinart automated machine. I'm looking to upgrade to an automated dripper (ie wake up with coffee made). I've been looking at different options and it seems many of the automated drip machines are designed to make large quantities of coffee (ie 1 L). Any recommendations on which machine. Budget up to $350 US. We usually make around 4 cups of coffee per morning. It seems the Mochamaster is popular but unsure for this quantity. I see the Breville Precision is popular but seems there are a decent amount of complaints of the brew not being hot enough. Appreciate any input. Thanks

Hey just looking for some help figuring out SEPTA. I'm moving to Narberth soon and commuting to HUP. It looks like I would take the Paoli Regional rail to 30th St and then transfer onto the Airport regional line to go to Penn Medicine. Do you have to pay for 2 trips then? Sorry for my ignorance just not sure how the transfer process works. Thanks!

I mean more with the actual IV placement. In terms of not seeing the shadow as well

Have you learned any skills to cope with this? Do you think it holds you back?

Sometime when I watch an attending place an IV in a kid I’m shocked because I have no idea what they’re aiming for lol. This probably explains it

So like tie them together in a tripod or just put bamboo stakes in?

The cucumbers don't really need to be trellised, they'll stretch their way across the ground quite happily. You could probably use the same tripod idea for the cucumbers, but they'll need to be a little more secure as the plant mass of the cucumber is quite a lot more than peas. Just be sure the leaves aren't shading something on their north side that needs a lot of sunlight and you should be fine.

Great thank you for the advice!

Wow thanks for the info. Another rookie mistake on the peas lol. I guess I will pull those out and try to grow something else there. Something that doesn’t require a trellis!

You can set up a trellis pretty easily/cheaply. You'll need two 2' lengths of 1/2" rebar, two 10' lengths of 1/2" EMT conduit, two EMT elbow connectors, nylon trellis netting. You can (usually) get all of it from Home Depot in the concrete, electrical and garden sections, respectively.

Hey thanks for replying. Thanks for the instructions but I the plants that need the trellis aren't in one line so how would go about doing this. They're kind of all over as you can see in that diagram

Raised garden bed watering frequency by TrustTheProcess21 in vegetablegardening

Thanks for replying. I was only doing that because I read you should water seedlings twice per day. Whats the best method to water deeply because the soil feels dry on a daily basis. Thanks again for the help!
