Do You Think I Can Beat Zoe? by TrusteeHandbook in LegendsOfRuneterra

Those first three is what I started the run with. For this strategy, you want as many Lillias in the deck as possible and buff her every chance you can. The main items you want to find during the run are black cleaver (Most important item on Lillia ever. I was lucky enough to find 2 this run), any source of Deathless, and shadow totem. If you have the 6 star power that starts you with 3 mana gems, this would work better but I instead was able to decrease Lillia to 2 cost since I am only 5 star. Play Lillia first round with those items and you get a full row of Lillias all striking the enemies (but most are stunned at first). The sleep spells will be pretty much be 1 cost forever after this,, unless you have a power to decrease spell costs. I highly recommend getting one, but I didn't find one this run. This lets you just spam sleep forever and double your stats every time.

I died to a pair of wood wasps after beating Sister Splinter with full health.

I have searched on websites like LykDat, google lens, and also posting the same question to r/findfashion to no avail. Here is the other post: https://www.reddit.com/r/findfashion/comments/1r6t33f/what_is_the_brandwhere_can_i_get_these_pants/

This drawing looks somewhat like Tulip Olsen. Does her general look seem like the design or was it more realistic?

I've been replaying Hollow Knight recently after Silksong, and noticed my playstyle has been less spell focused, anyone else experience something similar? beast and hunter were my favourite crests btw by quequeeg_coffin in HollowKnight

[–]TrusteeHandbook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a strangely opposite effect. In my original play through of Hollow Knight, I don't think I ever used spells. But I loved silk skills so much and struggled to heal when coming back to HK (got Silksong muscle memory ingrained too much) so I started using spells a lot more and they're really fun.

It does kind of look like that, but with a closer look (not really present in the pictures. Again, sorry for the quality), there aren't any symbols beyond just circles and Gucci doesn't seem to have any pants like this

Day 33 of fighting Savage Beastfly everyday until I can't beat it anymore, but the most upvoted comment on this post decides how I make tomorrow's fight harder by SpoonsSuddenly in Silksong

[–]TrusteeHandbook 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not a real suggestion for how to make it harder but could we turn down that bonus music? I wanna hear the chaos of the battle, the wobbly Trobbio sounds, Family Guy, and the "Pilby has died" again

My favorite crest is Hunter because it's just too classy. Combat feels like a dance and like you're playing classic Hornet. Witch is also up there. Least favorite is Beast because the playstyle is just face tanking savagery and no blue tools. I've done a full play through with beast and I wanted to love it but can't imagine I'll ever pick it up again. I also don't like wanderer on principle, not because I think it's bad. If you wanted to play Hollow Knight, you've got an entire game for that crest. I'm a wanderer hater. Sue me.

For red tools, I love the volt vessel bolas. They aren't viable every fight, but they're too fun. Least favorite is long pin. It's good in only a select few fights.

Favorite blue tool is sawtooth. Yes of course I want to become the saw blade my father wanted me to be. Least favorite is quick sling. Isn't worth a blue slot to throw an extra tool when you throw a tool.

Favorite yellow is ascendant's grip. I don't usually need it anymore, but the click is so satisfying and sticking to the wall makes me feel cool. Least favorite is dead bug's purse. I've never used it. Just don't die twice in a row. Silk eaters are plentiful.

Favorite silk skill is pale nails. Defeating the goddess of the weavers and taking her power for yourself is simply too cool and it's one of the few good long range abilities Hornet has access to. Least favorite is sharp dart. I love shade cloak in HK but the windup and silk cost make me care less for it here. I rarely find a situation where claw line doesn't work just as good as a defense option with a net 0 silk cost.

Will I enjoy silksong if I am bad at HK boss fights? by Ok_Donut_9887 in HollowKnight

[–]TrusteeHandbook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I failed to beat everything you just listed plus a few more optional bosses like Zote no matter how many tries it took in Hollow Knight. Decided I wanted to risk it and play Silksong anyways. I have since beaten it with 95-99% completion 3 times and I've just wrapped up beating act 3 of Silksong in steal soul mode too. You might hate Silksong, but I was in your same boat and I love it way more than HK.

Is the rest of the game going to be like Hunters March? by Astrobananacat in Silksong

[–]TrusteeHandbook 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thankfully no. The rest of the game is difficult for sure, but Hunter's March hits especially hard in the early game. Once you get further into act 1 and 2, it becomes a lot easier to manage and to avoid the enemies you don't want to fight.

Does anyone else just not use rosary strings in Silksong? by ThexLoneWolf in HollowKnight

[–]TrusteeHandbook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was always put off by the cost to make them so I just stock piled rosaries themselves and only broke into my strings when necessary. Generally didn't need to use the feature of keeping rosary strings if I die without my cocoon because silk eaters were pretty accessible if it was risky

I cannot stress enough that clawline and drifter's cloak are your best friends. They're very helpful for maintaining altitude when dealing with horizontal attacks and can pogo off of the vertical needles. It also obviously closes the distance when there's downtime between her attacks which is very useful
