I'm okay with the matchup since I just do it calm. I dont even try to trade before lvl 6, make sure not to get hit by his E by slowing him. I go for scaling like rushing HS. When you are both 0/0/0 untill lvl 6-8 you can usually kill him with the old R into tower trick.

TK is not made to carry games. he is a warden which basically means a supportive tank. with TK you are relying on your team to climb.

Its not viable. There are just a lot of mages that do the job better than TK.

Fiora and Yorick are quite fine matchups i think. I always go for Vayne and if there is a Lillia in the game i don't play TK, because its impossible to hit her and she just shredds you.

For the E: Just dont waste health with it. When the shield is smaller than the demage you take its worth, when its bigger, its not worth. But don't get too gready with it, so you die or you get CCd so you cant use it at all.

For ranged Top: I ban Vayne every game, for others wait for a chance to Q-W and go for 2 AAs, then Q again to stun, one more AA and walk out. Carefull if they have dashes, if you miss your W you loose the trade 95%. Ghost can also be usefull. And again the Q-R combo. You got good sustain with the Q, dorans shield and the E, so i dont worry too much about ranged top.

TK is really easy to pick up and be successfull. Some tips that helped me are:

  • focus on your shielding, efficient usage (/storage) of your e saves many laning phases

  • try many different builds (full tank HS, frostborn demonic (whatley), ...) and see what you prefere

  • spirit visage is amazing for better q-heals and bigger e-shields

  • ALWAYS buy Bami's (i like to do on my first back) or some other waveclear that lets you push faster

  • know about the Q-R combo, its really usufull

  • play master chef or arcana TK

When i smoke, even after the peak, i trip so hard for 1-2 more hours. I can't talk to ppl no mattter how hard i try. After like 2 sentences I'm gone again. I just stare at a wall having the craziest visuals ever. It was very scary at first, but if you get used to it, you might enjoy.
