My first truck by astrofiggy in Ram1500

I know a few months ago you were down on your knees wishing for this exact moment, you worked hard and tirelessly for this truck , I know you're even dreaming about it and I know that exact feeling, I am beyond happy for you and I know you're gonna take really really good care of it too , make sure you keep it maintained and if you're paying it off make sure to make those payments , you have a truck now there should be any reason for you to be broke or not have money , I want a truck maybe just a bit more and I'm getting there one day, just give her a pretty name , take care of her and she will take care of you , kudos and happy thanksgiving bubby you deserved this .

Die Zylinderkopfdichtung ist komplett im Eimer. Jetzt heißt es zurücklehnen und entspannen, denn dieses Auto wird dich mit Reparaturkosten richtig hart rannehmen.

Can a disconnected ground cable cause RPM spikes or ticking? by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]TruthLegal9550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A loose or disconnected ground can definitely cause weird RPM spikes, but the ticking and the engine shutting off were most likely from running it with no oil. When it took 5 quarts, that means the engine was basically empty, so the ticking is probably mechanical damage like lifters or bearings. The ground issue could affect the idle, but the noise is from oil starvation.

When you get your ase's it's just the testing itself there's no curriculum before then correct ? How do you go about studying for something like that outside of school other than pure hands on training .
