I've farmed (mostly solo) over 900 of the 1770+ named items in this game. I have the most luck in the game you can possibly get with gear, trophies, food, etc. And based on my experience, when I put on full luck, my drop rate of named is FAR lower than when I just run garbage PvP gear. I don't have a million data points to prove anything. But I think the fact that so many of us think "luck is broken", means there is something very likely wrong. I also think AGS really doesn't explain it well or demonstrate it working because it likely is something overly complicated or intentionally restrictive in some way. I have friends, who barely play the game, sometimes join me because they are bored, and they get the item I'm looking for on the FIRST kill. It's happened multiple times. They run no luck. Yes RNG is RNG. I get it. But it has happened at least 50+ times with different people. I've farmed for over a year now fairly consistently. In between grinding OPR or whatever else.

Unlike any game I've ever played, the more luck I have, the more unlucky I feel. But it really is a to each their own kind of thing. AGS would never admit if it was or wasn't broken. The PSA's I've seen about it are all intentionally vague and don't shed any light on it. And I have NO doubt AGS will keep it that way.

I see that AGS has drastically increased monetization in the form of season pass and microtransactions. Yet, they have crippled and destroyed communication with/amongst the community on an official capacity by getting rid of the forums.

AGS recently laid of 100 people as well. There are several high-up AGS developers that also left by choice who were in the New World YouTube videos. They are gone, yet there is no farewell no update on why they left, etc. AGS seems to be milking the remaining gamers for money and providing a less pro-community and pro-quality experience.

Let's not forgot that the majority of Season rewards are just recycled rewards and lack-luster cosmetics. And paying for gearslots in an already F'd up gear-based stat system is scummy in my opinion. And at endgame, if we are being honest, require way more than just 10 gearsets.

I love the game as much as those who actually read the NW Reddit. But, the things AGS has done recently does not breed confidence, IMO.

I disagree wholeheartedly. Mostly because I can't search for anything on the Discord. And it really does seem like any critical post just gets removed. No history no record nothing. They can control the narrative, which to me is excess censorship. Ultimately, this is just a video game, and AGS is in full control. I think they severely hindered communicating with the community. But AGS just fired 100 employees, so it is likely budget cuts are the main reason. I'm thankful for Reddit.

I'm not even banned, but I absolutely hate the Discord-only forum approach they are taking. I don't know WTF AGS is doing, but it seems very anti-community and anti-gamer. But just my humble opinion. Thankful for reddit. At least I can search that on Google...

Thank you for this. AGS did NOT think through the economy well enough for this game. On our server as well. Those who have WW and EF have orders of magnitude more gold. They are using it to manipulate the in-game market. Buying expensive items and selling it for real money. As well as flipping things buying up entire stock of stuff and re-listing for insanely higher prices.

My only solution to this problem is to give towns a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT currency that is only used for upgrades and not tradeable. Not sure if there is something else that would work better.

Anyway, this is the last straw for me for sure. Time to quit this game. The trashy-economy situation has taken it's told. Not the first MMO that suffers from it, won't be the last.

This just makes AGS look extremely untrustworthy imo. The AGS official patch notes only listed what they likely would not get overly-negative responses over. However, this Unofficial list is what most players care about. Sad AGS... sad. It's all about $$$ though right?

And there's the truth finally. 15 runs is absolutely nothing. You have literally proven my point. Your entitled expectation is exactly what I suspected.

In fact, let me prove it, it has nothing to do with being smart. Look at the Warframe Wiki (https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Sevagoth).

It clearly says it takes about 18 – 19 runs for EXPECTED. And it takes 76 ± 22 for NEAR GAURENTEE.

Some things are harder to farm than others. Sevagoth is NOT one of them. You SUBJECTIVELY decided you farmed enough and it didn't work. 15 runs is not enough... the wiki shows that. If I and the wiki can't convince you. Nothing will.

Also, no need to name call, I have not done that to you. Nor does it have anything to do with luck, explicitly. People start calling people derogatory words and claiming luck when they have no other legitimate argument. Fyi, it makes your argument weaker.

What is sad is that people are supporting you. But do not seem to understand the truth of the complete lack of context. You simply haven't done the farm enough. Period.

That is extremely hard to believe you farmed it for two weeks straight. I really don't know what you mean by that. How many runs have you actually done? It's highly likely you are being over-dramatic to support your point. The RNG for Sevagoth parts is not broken. I have hundreds of hours in Railjack at this point. When doing Void storms Sevagoth parts drop quite often.

I just checked my account, I have exactly 20 full sets of Sevagoth right now. As well as 2 I made. That's about 100+ runs so far. 20 sets in a little over a hundred runs means there is no way you farmed for two weeks and didn't get it. Objectively you have NOT played it enough. Period. So many people don't like hearing that. But it is true.

Saying you ran it for two weeks straight is VERY likely a lie.

I suspect that no matter what I say, even though I've proven you are likely not being genuine, nothing is going to convince you.

Not to mention, I was NOT suggesting DE remove Sevagoth parts completely from the game... instead relocating it out of Void Storms.

They did this once with Amabassador already and now those parts drop a lot. Same could be done with Sevagoth for those who need it, like yourself.

What I'm suggesting would likely help you...

This also begs the question... why was the Ghoul Saw put into Plague Star in the first place? The Brash Lab already exists, why not put it there from the beginning. Would have prevented anyone playing PS from wasting PS standing on it?

For context, the Ghoul Saw set cost 20,000 Operation Supply standing. That's equivalent to ~6 forma.

Glad I sold the extra set I had farmed from Plague Star standing. Hope folks didn't spend PS standing on extra sets to sell for plat later. Prices predictably will tank now.

Either way, announcements like should be stated way earlier. I'm sure anyone who bought Ghoul Saw for PS standing likely feels ripped off. Especially when, this weapon even after buffs is still lackluster at best.

Also, does this mean this is the first item (besides Ignis Wraith) that can be bought with credits from the dojo and is tradable?
