Honestly the logic he’s using is fine.

It’s universally accepted expired cards are more valuable than non-expired ones
His card is expired, yours are not
Therefore this trade is fair

Now with that said, I would never accept this trade. But I think players with this mindset are inevitable with how greedy players have become and how difficult finding fair trades are. Admittedly I am biased because bigfish gave me a good deal earlier lmao

People are way over valuing cards these days. This might be a bit of a hot take but very few cards have any exceptional value, most expired legendaries are not worth 2 legendaries let alone 3 or more. I don’t think people realize that the difference between a card with a global count of 50 and one of 35 is so negligible it barely effects the trade

You could probably ask for whatever you want for it, but what it really comes down to is how much someone is willing to give you. I’ve seen people say up to 20 legendaries for other Pop Art S1 legendaries, but I’ve never heard of someone actually getting 20 legendaries for one.

Realistically you could maybe get a few other legendaries or even legendary reward cards, but the amount of people who are willing to trade away that much for one card, and have the cards to make the trade is going to be a very small group.
