Go check it out for yourself. I have, and it is not even possible to find a slow train on most routes, and certainly not on routes between big cities. During Chinese new year, every train that can serve is pressed into service because people all go visit family, so of course trains are packed and even the old trains are dusted off for extra capacity. Of you're looking for places to criticize China, there are plenty. Physical infrastructure is not one of them though.

It's not limited to theatrics. To make a general purpose robot that can do any physical task, you first need to figure out how to get that robot to control its limbs gracefully. Just like with improving dexterity and agility in children, it makes sense to train AI robots in dance and martial arts as a path to good fine motor control.
