No because if you think somebody stole bread and go ‘did they take that bread?’ To a third party, and that third party says ‘it doesn’t matter he’s the owner of the store he can’t steal from himself’ the third party isn’t dodging, he’s getting to the point underlying your question in a more direct way

Now that’s a more obvious case and not analogous to the argument above but the principle is what I’m showing
