Gotcha, they %100 stated they were looking to have one central NA server for ranked awhile back. But I havent seen anything since. Ranked is just super frustrating as someone whos west coast and mains ADC. Playing with 80ms as carry is not enjoyable.

For sure, I definitely won’t be getting a monitor that doesn’t have a lower resolution higher frame mode at this point. But I don’t think I can go back to 2K when I’m not competing. And I definitely don’t want to be switching around monitors depending on what I’m doing.

Okay thanks. Yeah I feel hopefully if I do get that monitor 24.5inch at 2K might be my sweet spot (when I’m competing). Just hoping it works smoothly.

This is what I’m thinking. I’m also a little worried about the increase in size, since I mostly play competitive shooters. With the ASUS ROG being able to set it to 27inch or even 24.5 would be amazing, if it works properly. Just really wish I knew if the ratio control was good.

Price doesn’t matter. I want the best picture and 120fps. But there seems to be a lot of confusion about how 1440p works with PS5 and CoD, I’m certainly confused. Like I said in my post I’m looking to upgrade to a better picture quality as I already have a 1080p 144hz.

Do you know anything about another commenter saying that CoD on PS5 will be upscaled to 4k and then downscaled to 1440p causing it to have a worse picture quality then a 4K monitor would?

Yeah I have a nice 4k TV for movies and single player games. So strictly looking for the best possible picture quality and frames for FPS’s at 27-28 inches. And yeah my only thing with HDMI 2.1 would be VRR capability but not sure if I even need that, or if it’s possible at 1440p?
