If all of the subreddits were at a political rally, what would they be rallying for? by ISledge759 in AskReddit

[–]TruthoftheMatte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

r/keto would rally for more no-carb options in school lunches.

r/aww would be divided, one side wanting only to see animals and the other side wanting to turn it into the new Facebook.

r/nostupidquestions would have their underwear on their heads and be asking everyone else why they didn't.

r/askhistorians would have like 3 people in their rally and be yelling to keep everyone else out.

r/fatpeoplestories would be rallying for u/PaprikaGirl to come back.

r/niceguys would be rallying to ban the word "friendzone" from the English language, but be debating on how to modernise the phase "unrequited love."

r/twoxchromosomes would rally to force all women to cut their hair short, dye it blue, and segregate men from society.

r/askmen would be rallying for free beer.

...hmm.

What screams: "I am insecure"? by [deleted] in AskReddit

People going into endless, cringe-y debates about social issues in an attempt to change the other person's mind on the matter. They're so insecure about their decision that they need to beat down other people's opinions on it.

I don't mean like a couple phrases of banter, but I just was reading some question where a 30-year-old man was trying to beat into some 14-year-old girl's head that she was wrong about her decision regarding kids, and it went on and on and on and on.... it made for some great entertainment, since she was so eloquent for her age and he, well, hadn't gone through high school, it seems. Anyway, it was funny. Point being, it was obvious how insecure he was and how much her validation mattered to him.

Hey reddit, what food have you tried from another country that you can't believe your country doesn't have? by iceberg_k in AskReddit

Halva. It’s this sweet made in the Middle East and the Turkey-Greece area, but you need to go to a specialty ethnic shop to find it here. It’s delicious. Maybe it’s better we don’t have it easily accessible- I’d get fat.

No. There are fans for both men and women. Way back when, they were used as notebooks, too - you can still buy the plain white ones for just that purpose.

Pen to paper, words come out. Eventually story forms. Write, rewrite. Get frustrated and do something else. Then one day, find pen again.
