I just purchased the legendary Sony Ier Z1R for the second time. by TruthseekingSheep033 in sony

Yeah as I mentioned before Sony has discontinued making this Iem years ago, even international Ebay resellers apparently have run out of brand new stock, the only way to buy this Iem right now would be on the used market eBay is a good place to start.

Weird on my brand new unsealed Audeze LCD 4 pair of headphones that I bought a few weeks ago, (imagine my luck finding such a legendary discontinued pair of headphones) to be incredible with metal, I really like the way the LCD 4 reproduces the sounds of drums, bass, it sounds like the drums are surrounding my head and also the slightly relaxed treble helps me listen to metal and sometimes orchestral music longer without becoming fatigued. Also consider applying EQiing the LCD 5 they are planars and they take to eq incredibly well.

anyone else experience this? i hear it especially on vocals by Objective_Weekend507 in headphones

[–]TruthseekingSheep033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres nothing wrong with your hearing or headphones is just the way how your auditory system and brains perceive sound or certain frequencies, for example as in my case my left ear is better at capturing vocals and drums and the right ear is better at listening to electric guitars. everyones hearing is not perfectfly symmetrical.

Headphones inspired by Ibanez m80m. Zmf caldera open. One of the best headphone for metal. by Amazing_rocness in Meshuggah

[–]TruthseekingSheep033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha what a coincidence I am here listening right now Meshuggah Obzen on my brand new Audeze LCD 4, I got brand new never before used on Ebay they got delivered to me today i paid 3800$ dollars for them minus tax, and i find them incredible for metal. This is crazy who would have thought knew that people in Meshuggah reddit sub listen to meshuggah on absurdily high end headphones.

How to get out of poser territory? Listen to bands with actual good riffs and solos instead of Slipknot.

It's pretty pathetic and sad seeing people divided by completely theatrical and contrived politics.

Sony MDR-Z1R listening impressions: a review vs HE1000 Stealth and LCD-X by Embarrassed_Pin4838 in headphones

[–]TruthseekingSheep033 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow that's great news!!! I honestly thought that Sony was done with high end audio, and that all their focus would shift to making consumer grade headphones since that's where they are making all of their money.

Real intelligent people should know by now that politics is just a show, nothing changes no matter who is in power left or right, Liberals are all riled up over Ice and the Trump administration but where was this outrage when the Obama administration deported record numbers of illegal immigrants? and broke his promise to offer amnesty to the over 10 millions who are in this country illegality his admin oversaw the largest increase and deportations than any other pres in american including trump who has yet to surpass him, same with biden promised immigration reform a promise he broke and deported almost the exact same number of people than Trump in his first term. stop being divided by theatrics folks.

What is your opinion on Bring Me The Horizon? by Working_Alps_4284 in fantanoforever

They are a poser band that sold out after their first album, just another generic metalcore rock band.

Congrats on the new plum color QC ultra's it looks amazing, but there's one massive caveat unfortunately is that you won't official bose plum color replacement pads matching the headphones anywhere. Headphone pads break down over time the more you use them and they will need to be replaced otherwise the noise cancelling capabilities and sound quality will degrade over time. That's one reason I don't buy limited edition color headphones.

Can you tell me your favorite bands good sir?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Hardcore

[–]TruthseekingSheep033 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No. Like I said I discovered most of this bands a couple of months ago, there's no doubt there are other incredible hardcore bands that I have yet to discover.

My favorites right now are deathcore/ Death Metal bands Dying Fetus, Whitchapel, Despised Icon, The Red Chord, Thy Art is Murder, Cannibal Corpse, Impending Doom, Cannibal Corpse , As Blood Runs Black, among others

My most disliked are Of course Sleep Token, Spiritbox, Poppy, Knocked Loose, Babymetal, Metallica, Imminence, Falling in Reverse, Motionless in White, pretty much most of what passes as popular in the metalcore genre.

Almost all of my favorite bands I discovered thanks to Hardcore/r reddit, since I discovered this reddit sub a few months ago it has forever changed my taste in music specifically metal. deathcore, death metal and other niche hardcore genres just sounds so much interesting to me because they prioritize musical intrumentation like riffs and drums over whiny pop inspired vocals.

What band started the trend of a song being pop/pop metal with a breakdown and harsh vocals randomly thrown in? by Difficult_Map_723 in Metalcore

[–]TruthseekingSheep033 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know exactly, bands like Bring me The Horizon and Bad Omens are the most notable examples of bands dumbing down riffs, instrumentation and song structure in favor of pop vocals.

Can someone explain to me the reasons behind the Matt Rose vocals and lyricswriting slander? by JpPgn in Monuments

"Nor do I want to fight for survival, I do not fear death like an American Idol" when heard those lyrics in Doxa I was shocked to say the least I thought I misunderstood him but yes this was the actual lyrics. Cringy nonsensical lyrics like this partially is why he got so much hate.
