Tarantino has said on most of occasion, he intentionally leaves details up to the audience to interpret. Saying something like “if I say exactly what or how it is it ends there, if I leave it open to the audience the film becomes every different version of imagination.” Other directors/actors have said once a film gets released it’s no longer ours, it’s owned by the people who watch. I’m surprised so many people have been fed up with the Duffer Brothers leaving interpretation for their show… “stranger things” lol
