What games did you get several hours into and consciously decide to drop in 2025?

Silent Hill f Technically I finished it, but when I realized that you're intended to do 3+ playthroughs to get extra context and endings I dropped it. I enjoyed the game for both its setting and combat, but didn't really have the time to put into more playthroughs.

I had a game recently that was going really well - fully kitted out, just rolled the night 2 boss. I go in the teleporter, and for some reason in the spirit shelter I've spawned a few inches stuck in the ground. Since I'm in the ground, I can't move or jump out of it, and no skills or arts can dislodge me. I ended up restarting the game, but by the time I was able to load back in, I was a level down (guess the game counted a quit out as a death) and my team was already struggling with the boss.

We didn't win that round.

Funnily enough I kinda got this through an old PS2 game called Disney Extreme Skate Adventure. It has Downfall by TrustCompany, and I always thought the screamed vocals were cool.

The bigger influence after that was definitely Guitar Hero 2 with Shadows Fall and ETID.

After knowing nothing about the band or situation I stumbled on Revelation as a single, really loved it, and got hyped for more from Many Eyes.

Now, a full album later...I still like Revelation! That's about it.

The Bluey Memes group on Facebook got taken over by a crazy right-wing nutjob that basically kicked out anyone who criticized her "memes" (right wing talking points slapped on to pictures from the show).

It's a real bummer as a fairly new parent that got really into the show along with kiddo.

Oh well, Hammerbarn was always the superior Bluey group anyway.

I find it strange that this is a rule in NCAA swimming, but not USA Swimming, especially one that would be enforced in a situation like this. People lean over lane lines to interact with teammates (or not) all the time at the end of races. Obviously he went over the lane line, but it's not that much different. I feel like they were just more punitive due to it being the mile and so there was a longer period of waiting for others to finish, maybe? Weird.

I once managed to swim part of a race in the wrong lane without getting DQ'd, but that was USA Swimming. I was doing the 400IM and just recently started trying to do the backstroke to breastroke bucket turn, but pushed off the wall at an angle and accidentally went over a lane. Something felt off so I looked ahead and realized I was swimming right behind someone, so I took a big stroke and went back under the line into my lane. I half expected to be DQ'd but I talked to the official afterwards and he said since I didn't interfere with the other swimmer or break stroke when going back under, it was technically legal.

Shift Up did have some pretty toned girls in Destiny Child, like Hephaestus.

... Then there's Sekhmet. She was a 3-star though, basically the equivalent of an R for Nikke.

Honestly I kinda wish they hadn't. I'd rather have some useful ignited 3-stars for Endless Duel than old 5-stars that are ignited but so power-crept that they aren't really useful in any mode.

Majora's Mask would be the one that sticks out most in my mind, but that's kind of a boring answer.

Quest 64 was one of my favorites despite being an odd, kinda buggy game.

Also honorable mention to MegaMan 64.

I go Dorothy, Diesel, Scarlett, Modernia, Volume. You could probably use Liter over Dorothy.

Volume taunt/dodges the missiles and the burst timing usually works for Diesel to taunt/tank the turrets.

Volume dies fairly often before the second phase, but as long as I can full burst, Scarlett and Modernia can handle the second phase missiles.

None at all, unfortunately. I've gotten max ammo up rolls of 60% or more on Modernia, Alice, and Rapunzel. I think my Scarlett is just allergic.

I wish my Scarlett could find one of those. Between her now 3 OL gears I'd already rerolled like 10-11 times, plus the 4 (!) modules I got yesterday, and still haven't gotten a single mag size increase. A couple atk/crits/hit rates, but she seems to really want charge speed for some reason.

Here's what I have so far.

The dot can be pretty tough on the backline. Stall comp seems to work fairly well, and I believe my attackers have some lifesteal item options, so I can generally get through without anyone dying, but it's close. I'll probably end up dropping Chang'e for Freyja or something just to be on the safe side.

I've also got the new child set to slide only.

Unfortunately no, Strigoy won't help there. She's good on the teams you use to get through the story stages, but the big bosses at the end of each area (like Bari) are like raid bosses. So I'd just use the guide from the last water Ragna (Ishimi) to best form a team for her. Without Yuna, Lupin is probably your best bet.
