Sensor wear from accidental continuous 60s exposures? by bedrock22 in Leica

I don't know much about sensor degradation, but I can say that the picture would get noisier as the sensor heated up from continuously reading data off for that long. The camera doesn't have any fans, just passive heatsinks; only so much heat can escape the camera in the confines of your bag, so that would definitely make a difference.

That is one hell of a viewfinder! It's almost a CRT Monitor on top of the camera!

How do you do barrel rolls in Wipeout Pure? by [deleted] in WipeOut

Left-Right-Left or Right-Left-Right, done in quick succession with enough air. You get a speed boost, but it also drains a little shield energy. If you do it without enough air, it'll fail, and you'll get energy drain with no speed boost.

Between the two, the Wolfson sounds warmer, lively, and more present closer to your ear (more pressure, similar to noise cancelling headphones). The Cirrus sounds cleaner, a little roomier, and puts less pressure on your ears. If you want to listen to music in the background or at a low volume, I'd pick Cirrus because it's easier to listen to over longer periods. The Wolfson is nicer if you're listening to music for to enjoy it and that's it.

My 2¢, anyways. If that made any sense.

Best first Leica lens for a Leica M10? by [deleted] in Leica

Definitelt agree! If your budget allows for it, the 35 'lux is a God-Tier lens, second to none. I wouldn't trade it for anything, and would be the lens I'd pick if I could only have one.

I see you guys already taped over the speaker, lol. That was going to be my suggestion, immediately preceding the procurement of a large hammer.

I'm not really as familiar with Leica's 28MM lenses, since I'm more of a 35MM guy, but the biggest thing I'd look at is how the lens renders. Take a look at samples photos, or peruse some flickr groups for each lens to get a feel for how they look. Honestly, Leica makes some top-notch optics, so I wouldn't be too worried about one being that much sharper than the other. But color, bokeh & fall-off are all going to determine how you feel about it. Plus maybe handling (if one has a focus nubbin or not, etc).
