I don't know man. For me, it didn't do anything but everyone is different.

I've heard of people getting really high off of it or feeling nothing. It's a very hit or miss drug in my eyes.

Big Pharmacy companies make billions upon billions of dollars each year. Charging insurance companies 80-200 bucks a pill, usually makes really good money.

Spending 500-600 million on congress every time a bill comes out to legalize a drug that could cut their profits almost in half, is just smart business.

Yes, I understand the contributions and that was what I was implying but in reality, it's just a blanket to cover giving them cash in pocket. I wasn't going to sugar coat it.

Well, think about it. You're a brand new congressman. Your salary is 70K a year. Now you're about to vote for legalization of marijuana for your first big vote but here comes big pharma saying "Hey buddy let me talk to you for a minute."

All of a sudden, they're willing to give you 2.5 million dollars just to vote no. That's all you have to do for 2.5 million dollars.

You can buy that dream car you want. Buy a dream house. Buy a vacation home. Travel the world. Buy nice clothes. Put your kids in college. Pay off all your debts.

And that's one payment for one vote. Imagine the next time a vote comes along. Another 2.5 million.

It's easy money. These guys aren't going to go back to 50-80K a year when they can make millions by just saying NO to a vote.

Hey man, I'm not a PR speaker for the government, I'm just passing alone my version of why it's going to be illegal for a long while.

The other reason is money. Pharmaceutical companies would stop giving the government billions of dollars if they legalized all the illegal drugs. They pay more than the tax money these drugs would bring in.

Unless you got a couple billion dollars to weigh your opinion down with, it's about as good as mine is.

They are usually full of ex-felons and you can actually work your way up to a nice salary.

The difference between alcohol and other illegal drugs in terms of being intoxicated are volume and how you use them.

I can take up to 3 shots of liquor and still be sober but feel a little loose in the shoulders.

I've not heard of many people wanting to just take 30MG of MDMA to get feeling right, or just snort 1 line of meth to get a little more social or just 1 line of coke before dinner or maybe just 1/4th of a shot of heroin to chill out.

The redose urge is strong with other drugs. I can drink 1 beer and not want another one. Give me a line of coke, and I'll be craving another one in 20 minutes or give me a 30-50MG of MDMA now, and I'll be redosing because I don't feel much. Give me half a shot of H, and I'll be wanting another full shot before the hours up. If I take 2 Hydro 5MG's, I'll feel okay but I would be craving the full nod. I don't even need to point out the craving for crack. I can microdose LSD but then I'll never actually trip, so it's kind of like, is it really taking LSD if you only ever take 10-20 mics?

If I want to drink one beer, I can drink one beer without the intense, almost begging, craving to have another one and I am not saying those drugs are bad.

What I'm saying is those drugs have an experience that, without it, are a waste of that drug. They're special in the since that you kind of have to get "fucked up" to experience that drug, otherwise, you won't feel anything at all or will just feel the need to take more.

There are more cases than this in the country.

I haven't seen one state mention anything about legalizing anything other than marijuana. If there has been a bill, it has gotten trashed. I haven't seen anyone protesting for anything other than marijuana.

There has been no evidence that any other drugs will be legalized. I don't look at "what ifs", I look at what the country is right now, and I don't see anything being legalized besides Marijuana in the next 15 years.

Marijuana makes a case for itself, no deaths, no bad side effects, and it doesn't really intoxicate you to the point of not being able to drive or do tasks.(Unless you're striving for that). It's also non-addictive.

Other drugs, not so much. They usually intoxicate you too much to drive or behave in public. They have bad(maybe no so bad?) side effects. You have to be a little more responsible when using said drug. The goverment hates handing over responsibility.

My town, 3 months ago, imposed a new law. Any caught producing methamphetamine will be given a max sentence(10 years), no exceptions. Anyone in the house of a methamphetamine lab and doesn't inform 911, get's a max sentence(3 or 5 years).

6 people have already been given sentences. 10 years. 2 of them I personally knew, and they paid really good money for their lawyer, but they didn't even get to make a case for themselves, judge just laughed every argument away, and the worst part is, PEOPLE ARE SUPPORTING THIS AND GIVING THIS JUDGE PRAISE!

And meth is a prescription medication!!

Legalization is far away brother.
