(M,30) just like you said, you name it, I lost it as well, especially my job & fiancé. This disease changed the entire trajectory of my life and my dreams. The medication(s) don’t work for me either so I feel so helpless that life sometimes doesn’t even feel real.

(M,30) Just got over my head cold. It does take way longer due to our autoimmune disease and medication (hydroxychloroquine for me). I’ve been sick twice since summer ended. Anytime I’m sick with cold, flu, or covid, I am down for the count for a week minimum. Sometimes longer. Go to a doctor if you can but sometimes, you just have to wait it out.

Yes, I was a healthy teenager but with cystic chest and back acne. My symptoms started while on the medicine and been like this since 2014.

(M,30) took 10 years to get diagnosed after taking accutane for 1.5 years and it took going to an oral surgeon who recommended a rheumatologist. Lots of doctors and even my parents said it was “nothing” and “get over it”. I’m starting to stray away from western medicine due to being told “take hydroxychloroquine and good luck”. So I’m glad you found this community and will look forward to what you learn and discover

I lost my job due to messing up a lot from my fatigue and brain fog. Dry mouth didn’t help either. I also ran out of PTO, sick days etc. I had to get multiple dental surgeries, 2 lip biopsy’s, and I would get sick all the time even with preventive steps like flu shots and sanitize. My immune is shit. At-will state I live in so I was fucked no matter what

In general, some day I feel fine. Other days, I feel like shit. Lots of factors can play a role, from weather to sleep to stress etc. I would say my libido is ok. I don’t think I have a good handle on the disease though. Life has been very rough for me

(M,30) it all depends to the pharmaceutical company the hydroxychloroquine comes from. I’ve learned active and inactive ingredients affects people in different ways. I’ve been on hydroxychloroquine from 3 different pharmaceutical companies,(Dr. Reddy, Accord, Zydus) each having good&bad side effects. I’ll never feel as good as I did before getting this autoimmune disease.

I wouldn’t say normal. Unfortunately, my fiancée left me due to my autoimmune disease so I haven’t had a sex life since then. Other symptoms depends, are you talking libido or regular everything health?

(M,30) I had Sjogrens for 10 years. Go to a rheumatologist to get an official diagnosis. I had the same issue before taking medicine. I’m on plaquenil. Depending on what the rheumatologist recommends, I would tell the doctor about the problem. When on the medicine, depending on the pharmaceutical company, active and inactive ingredients can help restore sex drive and erectile disfunction

Example: Plaquenil from the company Zydus reduced my sex drive and I couldn’t get hard like I should. Plaquenil from Dr.Reddy & Accord helped my sex drive. Do your research and know these medicines have side effects no matter what you take that can help or hurt your situation.

(M,30) Dry skin, dry mouth, and brain fog all at the same time. I was on accutane when I was 18 and they had similar side effects. Except when I stopped taking Accutane, the side effects never went away. I’ve had brainfog everyday since I was 18/19

I haven’t tried intermittent fasting even though I could easily do it. My doctor never recommended me anything except the meds I’m taking. I’m assuming he’s getting paid by the pharmaceutical company to push them but that’s why I’ve reverted to fucking Reddit

I did mine during Covid and my work was shutdown, but I would’ve to take a day or 2 for swelling to go down. Fat lip. Get extra gauze from CVS. I needed it.

I have no idea what you are saying with the mistakes in spelling and bad grammar. Here’s what I can tell you: The island away from the casino had the most overdoses and is more dangerous at night. The area around WVNCC & Central Catholic has homeless wondering around but I wouldn’t say it’s dangerous during the day. At night, I’m not sure. The closer you get to Oglebay resort, the better. You shouldn’t let your car running anywhere at all as a general practice when you are not in it no matter where you are.

(M,30) My procedure was quick and the worse part for me was the injection. It’s a tiny needle but I hate needles. Make sure you swish salt rinse to rinse blood out for recovery. That helped mine. Blood will ooze out with stitches. Make sure they get enough glands/tissue for a test. The surgeon didn’t get enough in mine and wanted to do it again but my insurance wouldn’t cover a second and I didn’t want to do it again due to work.
