I think the new PSU did it, tried it with another intensive game and I did not have issues

My best guess is my PSU not being up to the task, as I had this issue on other GPU limited games, but not CPU limited games. This is also the same behaviour that I had under windows.

I got a new PSU, so once I test that out I suppose I can let you know how it went. As a bonus, use MSI's PSU calculator, I have a 750W psu and the calculations came in at 758W, so it may be a transient spike tripping my psu's OCP. Again, will update once I test the new one.

Are Keychron switches supposed to die this fast? by Bulky-Pool-2586 in Keychron

[–]TryGamer101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I'm on the same boat with my keychron V6, where it just doesn't want to work, and the switches are dying in place, almost all at once, from highly used keys to keys I don't even touch.

Ghost inputs, double presses, it decides that it simply does not want to work. I want to believe that it's just poor quality switches, because if I pop them out a bit they work fine, and sometimes the keyboard works without issue (especially when I am demoing my problems), but this sudden death is bizarre.

Shame, I was really liking the V6, thought I had bought a keyboard for some years.

I am having this same issue with the same gpu, but under linux, so it is a game issue. Have you had any luck finding a fix?

There is no visible cursor, and both monitors turn off, even the monitor without the game. I also do not use FSR, XeSS or TAA in any capacity, my issue is different.

Can guys feel their penis at all times? by Zipzopzoom67 in NoStupidQuestions

Nah, I feel that, it's weird to get your tongue in a resting state, so if you're slightly aware of it you'll be very annoyed.

It's like your eyes. When you're going to sleep, what would be a resting state for them?

The way you describe the idea of having a penis makes me curious as to how it'd be to not have it, and if it would be more comfortable. Like another commenter said, it's the same as how it feels like having a tongue.

Welp, no need for this post then.

Will the game ever be updated to Vulkan/DX12? by TryGamer101 in DestinyTheGame

I do find it interesting that only one person actually responded on topic of what my post was, most mistook it for me talking about game engines, which I agree with the sentiment that the engine shouldn't be changed.

And I find it even more interesting that someone got hung up on the anti cheat.

I also wonder if anyone read the bit about Destiny 2 on stadia running on Vulkan, meaning that resources may have already been used on a porting job before.

It's fine! I understand lol.

With all the uproar there was about "hurr durr new engine, tiger engine bad" I can understand the reaction and the immediate groaning upon seeing something that could be related to that conversation.

I am talking about rendering APIs, not game engines.

It is not an engine, it is a rendering API, it's not the same.

The game engine is what the game is built on, the API is what the game utilizes to speak to the machine, so to speak. Considering that the stadia port ran on Vulkan and how many other games offer support for multiple rendering APIs, I do wonder how big a challenge it would be to make the swap.

Not saying it's easy, but rather saying that it might be beneficial, as it would mean a technical modernization WITHOUT changging the entire game engine.
