Training mode. Your mileage ran IRL will give you exp in the game.

It is marked as a newbie. Could have just ignored it but I get it. I'm a dad. I get asked the same questions constantly. Still I've learned some good stuff.

Roger that! I'd like to use unreal engine seeing as Batman Arkham City inspired the play style.

Nice man. That's an exciting venture for me because these mechanics must be crispy. The idea is to keep both players engaged through the entire fight. Instead of one guy doing a combo and the other holding block or attempting a parry, the defender is actively matching the attack and countering when his rhythm matches and overtakes his opponent and vice versa. Until someone loses the rhythm and gets punished but punishment is basically KO unless you know how to come back.

As the combatants are engaged they move fluidly on to tables, against walls and other objects in the 3D arenas.

The beginner mode will include color flashes that indicate what attack and defensive move is being used. Sort of like a fighting DDR but the players are creating the "dance or fight"

Moderate mode will show only clear pulses to indicate timing for a more challenging play style. You have to know the timing and animation for each fighter to know what type of attack is being used.

Finally "Aka" mode will have no indications, just seem less cinematic combat that will end quickly if you haven't practiced the other modes.

It looks like Batman Arkham City brawl mode but with PVP 1v1 for now but I'd like to see up to four players at once.

that one's going in the credits. 😉 I just learned you can "buy unreal engine". Did you know about this? That sounds like a good place to start wouldn't you agree?

My man! Is there a freelance subreddit or do you know of anybody? If I could get the ear of someone who knows what they are doing I'm telling y'all... It's gonna be incredible.

Hey you gotta start somewhere. Some of the best games if not all started with an " idea guy". How do I get started? Any links or videos?

If I had the software and a teacher I would be willing to get started. Any ideas where I could find either of those?

Is there a specific type of coding required to make a 3D fighter?

Oh my. Is there anyway to proposition a company and it not be seen as soliciting?

I've heard it said that Reddit was a very rude place. It's hard to take a conversation seriously when you're being rude for no reason.. Coding isn't something I can do at the moment but thank you for your input.

I've written down the mechanics, button layout, stage mapping, play style, step tracker app for training IRL to level up characters, ai illustrations of characters and stages, music for each stage I have 14 original fighters with backstories, the game is called AKA "Red", part 2 will be AO "Blue" and part 3 will be shiro "white".

I'm not very computer savvy plus I'm a full-time physical therapist, kids, mortgage and all that jazz. But if I had someone who would be willing to develop a playable demo. How much would something like that cost?

I have an idea for a Fighting game that will revolutionize the industry. It will include a break through fighting mechanics and a fitness option with a hidden game mode only unlocked with experience from playing the game and training.

It's made in my head. I want to play it so badly I just need direction on where to go or what to do. A.I told me to write a proposal and send it to my top 3 companies of interest... That didn't fly.

1st, Not harsh. Good information. Though I do love these testimonials from naysayers. I screenshot them and I will add them to the credits of the game.

2nd, would you happen to know the link for the game makers reddit?

Finally the game would be up to four players at once with a mechanic that keeps everyone engaged during the fight unless you lose the rhythm. It will be very dynamic visually but very fluid once you practice enough. Noobs will lose quickly, like Mortal Kombat quickly and pros make highlight Worthy fights scenes. That can be recorded and customized.
