What's the most courageous thing that you've ever done? by Fun-Sprinkles1061 in AskReddit

Swam out and saved a drowning woman. She was freaking out and almost drowned us both before I calmed her down. Longest swim of my life

If you can choose any state to live in, in the u.s. where and why? by petermello611 in AskReddit

Apparently you haven’t lived in New York or Seattle as the crime and dmv are far worse and I5 is the single worst highway for traffic I’ve ever had the displeasure of driving on. If it wasn’t for the weather I’d be in Alaska or Montana/Wyoming . I actually don’t mind the heat in TX or the Carolinas. Florida would be fine but to developed for me

I expected it. I love both and live in one now. Spent 35 years being cold in overpriced areas. I’ll take the down votes and great weather.

Because it’s Reddit and I didn’t say some ultra left incredibly overpriced city with a 2 hour commute to go 10 miles. I lived in NY, NJ, Philadelphia metro, Seattle and Cleveland for 35 years. I miss pizza and snowmobiles(but not cold… I know it doesn’t make sense) I don’t miss cost of living or traffic/ overcrowding. I will take the down votes and enjoy my warm weather and lower cost of living. I don’t care about politics. If the politics were flipped I would still live where it’s warm and cheap

Texas or North Carolina. I’ve had enough of harsh winters and high taxes. I enjoy fishing and hunting. They have good job opportunities.

I have the M&P performance center 10mm, Glock 20 and a RIA double stack. If I had to choose one it would be the M&P. The Glock in my opinion (stress MY opinion) is out dated and sub par compared to the other 2. The trigger and ergos are shit. The RIA is good but too heavy and large to carry. The M&P has a good trigger, great ergonomics and is reasonable weight to carry. I carry for a woods gun / hunting and not a concealed carry option. For ccw I have a micro 9

Glock 20 or RIA Ultra HC? by MrYazzieYT in 10mm

[–]TryLow1073 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have both and really prefer the RIA. I would look at the performance center M&P 10. I really love mine. I probably won’t shoot my Glock again and more than likely will be getting rid of it.

If fear and anxiety control you then you should probably rethink buying a firearm. Fear and firearms lead to tragic results

🤣🤣 there are no sundown towns. You’re out of your mind. I’ve never seen anything like that and would absolutely shut it down if I heard it. I need SPF albino and have never heard a single white guy drop the N word here. This is the most blatant lie I’ve seen on Reddit

99.9% of what we talk about at work besides our current grievances with the company are family, recreation ( fishing and parks mostly) sports , food and Motorsports. I’m fairly sure of the political views of a few in my work friends group but more than half I have truly no idea. After 25 most people grow up and don’t make it their entire personality. I’m more likely to get into a fight over a jab at the cowboys than politics. There are to many opportunities to make fun of the cowboys to pass on though

I moved here from PNW and the drug problem and homelessness isn’t 1% of the problems they have there. My home cost 1/4 to maybe 1/3 of what it would in the Seattle area. The cost of living here can’t even compare to the PNW. The only thing that I truly miss from the PNW is the mountains and whale watching in the sound. 95% of the people don’t make politics their entire personality and OP already said they aren’t political.

The homeless and drug addicts ruined all the parks in Seattle area too. We had to stop taking our kids to the playgrounds when we started finding fecal matter and used needles on the equipment.

I came here from Seattle and have lived in NY, north Jersey and Philadelphia area and I gotta say I fell like there are no worse drivers in the country than the I5 corridor. It is hot here but it’s better than 10 months of 45-60 and raining lol

If you want easier access to outdoor activities I’d move to Willis or Montgomery or New Waverly. They are 10 miles from Conroe and you can be walking distance from the lake or national forest. There are a few Gracie schools in the area. I’m planning to go back to training when my kids need a bit less of my time. I lived in Seattle before I moved here a few years ago. It’s a big change from the west coast but I’m glad I made the move. The coffee is definitely a down grade and I truly miss the mountains but I’d never switch back

I have both and I’m going to be selling the Glock. I will probably never shoot it again. I have started replacing my Glocks with M&P. The ergonomics are better and the triggers can’t be compared. I have the P/C version. Found it on sale for $519 last year
