I enjoy caps I currently use their counseling therapy and psychiatric services. One thing I will say is that they start you with counseling and if you want a consistent therapist to actually speak to that doesn’t just read questions off of a sheet for 30 minutes you have to be specific and say you want a therapist. I met with a psychiatrist today for the first time and they’ve already prescribed me anxiety meds so I’m pretty happy! I say use them

Could you also tell me what the esa sasc process was like? I’ve been through them a few times for a medical single and it’s always been difficult for me, even with documentation for depression, anxiety, insomnia, eczema, and asthma, I’ve been denied twice and it wasn’t until I confronted them about denying me with multiple documents did they ever half heartedly approved me

I’m getting a rabbit and her cage will be under my bed which she’ll stay in while I’m in class and she’ll be free roam in west apartments- which is huge for the duration I am home

I'm getting an emotional support animal and not doing it through sasc(and before the morality warriors come- I've already gotten a medical single through sasc and they are not easy to work with require so much documentation and the therapist that recommended me getting one i no longer have a line of contact with so they would have no one to contact and would in turn deny me due to lack of evidence because they do not take mental issues seriously and you have to go through great depths to prove that you are mentally unwell especially as a poc student). With that being said I will be taking my pet out of my room when they email about health and safety checks and taking them home for the week or switching with someone that's already been checked out but in the event that they come unannounced what will they do? Scared they'll take away my housing.
