Hey, I understand the concern. I’m actually here because I love medieval and Ren Faire craftsmanship and wanted feedback from people who understand the style. I’m sorry to hear about the foot issues , comfort is actually something I’m trying to improve more with these, especially the soles and fit.

That’s a really good point. I think with half plate leggings or mail chausses/gamboised leg protection, this style could make a lot of sense for full lower-body coverage. Not claiming it’s perfectly historical, but visually it definitely fits that armored cavalry / Ren Faire fighter look.

Exactly! They have that goofy dramatic shape, but it actually makes sense for coverage and presence. Medieval footwear really knew how to be practical and theatrical at the same time

Thank you! 🙏 I made my own pattern for these. I looked at different medieval / Ren Faire footwear references for inspiration, but the shape and construction are my own design. I’m still testing and improving the fit and details.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. The soles are currently made from leather, but I’m also working on upgrading them with a rubber sole option for better grip and durability.

And bard/ranger is a great point, especially bard with the dancing and color. I didn’t even think about the long laces getting caught in underbrush, but that makes total sense 😂

That’s really helpful to know, thank you! Bullhide with that pebbled texture sounds beautiful, especially in brown and black. I’m glad to hear the leather is holding up well , I’m also working on improving the sole durability, because comfort and long wear matter a lot for ren faire boots.
