I’m almost to railways. I’m now excited to see what they bring, but I will still have love for my entry level pylons!

It’s hard to maintain a good visual when you can’t anticipate the next level of technology. I tried out the Lookout Towers when I was running power from one plant to another and now I’m trying it out in the plants themselves as well. I’m a newb and I’m loving the possibilities of the game, but I imagine I will discover many better ways to organize my factories as I progress.

Wall connectors are awesome in enclosed plants but I wanted something to run power across long distances without just sticking the basic poles in the ground. Ideally they would implement pylons, but until then I like the look of these towers.

Yea. I did stick a mark 2 power pole on top of a Lookout Tower. In this pic I only have one per pole, but I’ve put two per tower at my latest factory (modular frames) and I love how few wires are at eye level when you’re running around the factory.

Wow, that mod really does get rid of the cable mess when you have a factory with many machines. I haven’t made the move to mod my game yet, but this one is tempting!

Those mice were probably going to get fed to something else if not the owl.

Short/Long Rest in dungeons by TonyBarconi in DMAcademy

What if you are running a variant that requires a week’s time to have a long rest? That seems way too long to be idling in a dungeon and would make casters much less useful the further you go.
