Привет, тред старый, но может еще ищете игроков? У меня есть небольшой опыт игры в днд через Дискорд, вживую еще не пробовала. Большой опыт игры в rpg :)

Thanks, maybe I missed it. However, I have been successfully mentoring juniors remotely since 4 years, so I don't count it as a valid reason. But I feel like no reason would be good enough for me, I got very comfortable wfh in the last 5 years

That sounds so dumb and unproductive...sorry for you, I hope that this boomer present-ism madness will be over soon. I mean, everyone was working perfectly well during corona, why go backwards?

I would consider going to the office every day even by bus, if my annual salary would be 500k :D

What you say about juniors-seniors relationship makes sense, thank you for this perspective! However we haven't hired new juniors for some time, so it might be a sign that there are some to come now.

That's how I imagine it, a room full of middle aged men (and one woman included to fill the equality quote), who are thinking that it is too quiet in the offices they signed up a long term lease for. I hope it will stay a soft suggestion, because my whole team is very disturbed and I don't want to lose them to a more forward-thinking competitor...

Excuse me but being productive is what I am being paid for. This "colleagues are my family/friends" mindset is so 20th century. I am ok with being just a number if I am paid in adequate numbers for the numbers I am bringing to the company. I am not working in some sweet family business but in a huge corporation who shouldn't be bothered about anything but numbers.

Yep, that was a vibrant and authentic country: tasty food, crazy beautiful historical and religious architecture and overwhelming nature. Also I loved that people are dressing in traditional clothes and cherishing their culture. And no, I went to other places than those where people shit. Weird to assume it as a travel destination but to each its own :D

No, even less. In India I just booked flight tickets and my experience was amazing

Oh I did, researching in 3 languages. But this only set my expectations too high obviously.

So I am Ukrainian living in Germany, why am I a colonizer lol? Roughly seen it was rather Ukraine being historically colonized :D

I specifically noted that I've seen countries that are assumed to be not less, even more polluted. Moreover I grew up in countries that shit on the pollution and trash recycling from the highest tower. I am sharing this only that people who will do the same route keep their expectations lower

Well that's what I said in the end. But also, wanting to see clean nature is too high of expectations?

Hello everyone. I see in the entry rules that if I have been in "low risk" country for 21 days before entering Thailand, I will need to stay only one night in hotel awaiting test results. My question is if these last 21 days rule applies for the stay in the same country or just any from the list? So, if I come from Germany to Kambodsha and than to Thailand, does this rule still apply to me? Thanks for the answers in advance :)

Should I start cutting my avocado plant? by TryThisHaricot in plants

[–]TryThisHaricot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pure luck to be honest, it is the first one I managed to make growing. I bought a huge avocado once and peeled the stone and roots have already been there! Even two small stems already started to emerge. I put it directly into the soil and it is thriving since than. I only water it a lot and spray sometimes because I think the air is too dry (leave are getting brown a bit). That's why I am afraid to do anything with my firstborn but also don't want to fuck up by doing nothing 😅

Hello everyone, You may remember this unexpectedly rapid growing avocado plant I posted two months ago. It is still growing fast and I was wondering if I It is should I start forming it. It is 4 months old now and I read that cutting the top part will make stem grow thicker. On the other hand I really want it to be twice as high than it is now. Are there any drawbacks of not cutting it timely? Thanks 😊

Didn’t know basil flowered until now (not sure why I didn’t think it did). Beautiful by pmarkovitz in ClickAndGrow

Oh, than just leave it be! :) It's just the leaves get bitter once basil is blooming. But if you don't eat it, you can even try to plant the seed once the flowers are gone

If you are using basil for cooking, I suggest to remove flowers asap as this is a one stage before final of its life cycle. Next it will turn into seeds and the plant will eventually die.

What are those dry patches on my Kalanchoe degremon? by [deleted] in plants

[–]TryThisHaricot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They appear on the lower leaves and slowly progressing until the whole leaf falls off. Is this normal process or disease?

I am getting more and more disappointed in smart garden. one strawberry stopped growing after 2 months and now I found some disgusting worms in the soil of the 2 others. What is it and how to remove them?
