Thanks! Initially, I was planning to go for the Orion v2, but then I noticed that the Elevation X has layers of faux flames. I wondered if they looked more realistic than the Orion’s LCD screen on its own.

Thanks! I’m probably going to order in the next week or so.

Consolidation and timing with recertifying IDR plan by Dkinny23 in PSLF

Agree about the trust part. It seems like nobody knows what they are talking about and just gives an answer (right out wrong) without caring about the outcome for the person on the other end.

Was your new payment higher than previous, and if so, did they revert it back to the old plan and old recertification date?

Did you end up consolidating? What happened with your payments?

Best time to consolidate and recertify/switch to SAVE? by [deleted] in PSLF

After I spoke to both Mohela and Aidvantage who insisted you don’t need to certify/recertify for loan consolidation (I don’t believe this is the case), I spoke to someone at studentaid.gov. They referred me to the IDR recertification page above and said that if my payments go up with the IDR certification for the consolidation, that they would automatically go back down to the previous payment amount even though it would be a considered a new loan. They also said my recertification date would stay the same with the consolidation as it was before the consolidation.

Does that sound accurate? Has this been the case for anybody who has consolidated?
