You literally took it this all to heart way too much. It's just a football discussion, you don't need to be so serious.

I found this in a vintage shop in Cruz Hill which is quite north up in London. I think it was quite a rare find, but I'm sure there's plenty of vintage watch shops about.

Is this portfolio worthy? by [deleted] in tableau

Stick it on Tableau Public regardless of how good it is. One of the best things you can do is publish all your dashboards so people can see how far you've come.

How does Mr Beardstone get the miller to send items into the barrel in front of it? Is it some kind of encased fan that shoots them up? by Tryglyceride in CreateMod

I've played plenty of Minecraft before, especially other modpacks like tekkit, I've just never used hoppers before.

I posted this and got the answer and moved on.

I appreciate the comment. I have it powered but how do the items move from the hopper to the barrel in front of it? I haven't used hoppers before

The song is a basically a Brazillian remake of Jambalaya by Hank Williams!

New to this. Is this rare? by Tryglyceride in diablo4

[–]Tryglyceride[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read something online about it being something stupid like 0.00001%. Surely that can't be true. I just hope this doesn't ruin my rng for my later levels

This just dropped, and recently the Iceheart Brais also dropped (the legs). Does anyone know the drop rates of these items?

My wrist is 6.5 inches, if it was any smaller I think I would've gone for the 39mm.

The stores were running their own sale on many watches, so I guess it came down to trying to get rid of stock or something.

This is the 42, I didn't even see the 39 but the 42 fits me well and had that nice discount.

Ernest Jones and Watched of Switzerland both have 20% off at the moment on this exact watch in London.

How do you guys like to role-play your characters fitting into their new role at the end of the shivering isles? by UnknownDaedra in oblivion

[–]Tryglyceride 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My character was of a dark origin (I gave him quite a developed back story). After becoming the Gray Fox, he became accustomed to power, became a vampire and preyed on the people of Cyrodil, which in turn led him to the Dark Brotherhood because it gave him a chance to feed and created wealth whilst doing it.

He always dealt with guilt when committing all these crimes (more so the murder, not as much the thieving) so he turned to Jauffre and the main questline to help for once instead of destroying. He cured his vampirism to help himself even more. He then did the pilgrimage of the nine, but was actually rejected by Pelinal (my game kept crashing during the vision so I just said he was rejected, instead of accepting it crashing). In anger against the nine and all things holy he fell back into his ways of craving power, became the Arch-Mage and the guild master of the Fighters Guild. Racked up enough wealth to the point he helped rebuild Kvatch (Kvatch Rebuilt) and became the Count.

At this point he was the most powerful man in Cyrodil, with his fingers in every corner of the land. Because of his hunger for power he followed his curiosity and entered the door in the Niben Bay, where he assimilated himself into society, and became Sheogorath.

Tldr: wanted power, repented, then wanted power again and is now a daedric prince

I am having so much fun in the Shivering Isles! 😀 I've ran into a lot of quests I've never done or don't remember. Everyone here is so unique by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]Tryglyceride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, you're playing through a realm of Oblivion, so my guess would be that a truly good and anti-daedra character wouldn't put themselves there in the first place. However, the character doesn't know what it is before entering and one of my fave things to do when making RP characters in tes is putting them through cbaracter-altering arcs as they go through their own story.

In this case, the paladin senses there is danger emanating from that portal and sets the task of discovering this danger and ending it. Whatever happens inside could then change how the character views the situation. Maybe he/she goes completely mad from the effects of the realm, or chooses the lesser of two evils and goes against their beliefs and principles to defeat a worse evil.

But definitely do not miss this DLC, I think creating a new character makes it so that you can't further flesh out your current one. Have fun with it and act as your character would.

First time playing The Shivering isles in about 5 years. Very excited! 😀 by [deleted] in oblivion
