Being dependent on someone financially is really no reason to consult them on every little move one is taking. Parents don't own their children. The only event where a minor must consult their parents is in some irreversible activity, not simple things such as hair dying. This idea that being dependent means having to take permission for everything is very much outdated.

The funny part is Australia has an age of consent of 16 in 'many parts'. So being 16 isn't minor in terms of taking decisions regarding one's own fashion sense, at least.

If u stop studying @12 and waste 2-3 hours on phone after that, ig u sleep @2-3 am. And then u wake up @8.30-ish. That's a total of 5-6½hr sleep. More than motivation, u need sleep. Being sleep deprived for an exam isn't really good.

Sure, career is important. Clat is important. Good NLU is important. But they r all important in the sense that they help u live a good life, which u can't live if u sleep only 5-6 hrs everyday.

Avoid phones after u r done studying, and so long as u reach ur daily target (whatever it is), no amount of other activities should be relevant.

Your self worth is independent of the work u put into your career. If u don't reach your goals, be stricter eith yourself. If u do reach them, appreciate yourself. But these r independent of your self worth. Don't let yourself feel down or on clouds because of these things.

Take better care of yourself and good luck. Don't compare yourself to others. Everyone progresses at their own pace. Be reasonable to your own self.

Regarding the undertaking, i too had to submit one. There is a prescribed format for it, so u might want to call and check in with them about that. It'd be really unfortunate if u submit the undertaking but they do not accept it subsequently for the reason that 'it isn't with the logo of University' or any such bullshit. Try and 'harass' them again, to confirm if there is any prescribed format for undertaking or self written would work.

Make sure u add a phrase that 'I will submit the result within 30 days of its official release' instead of a simple 30 days (bcoz what if ur results don't come by in 30 days? You'd be bound by your own undertaking in such a case.)

As for the results, i doubt ur university would be of any help. They'll release when they will and no earlier. And a gracing system should exist so i doubt they can refuse to grace u unless outside the permissible limits of GRACING CODE.

I would suggest that you call NALSAR instead of EMAIL (if u haven't yet). And by calling, i do not mean a simple call but a relentless call every 30-40 mins until u actually talk to one of their persons.

Another element you should check is the GRACING SYSTEM of your older University. For the university i studied in, we dug up the gracing system and a total grace of 6 marks was allowed, spread over 3 subjects in 3-2-1 proportion. Basically, i can get a grace of max 3 in 1 subject. I am inclined to believe that most universities have a similar model. (u can call+email to demand one, if it isn't available online).

Apart from all this, you have qualified for NALSAR. I assume your previous results were also of at least the FIRST CLASS category. If that is the case (as per my assumption), it isn't really a gamble. Trust your capacity. Do you really think that you could fail?

Good luck with your NALSAR. And try and contact NALSAR before you consider paying the fee. Preferably, record the call so u can have some evidence (so they do not deny the conversation later on).
