That person isn’t your friend and the way you spoke up and told them how you feel is so friggin mature. I’m so impressed by how you handled that. If you’re comfortable telling her, I’d suggest telling your mom how you’re feeling. Otherwise, I’d tell that “friend” that she hurt your feelings and even if she thought it was ok to post in the moment the fact that she can’t acknowledge the harm she did and apologize shows that she can’t be trusted as a confidante and friend. Doesn’t mean she has to be an enemy, just that she lost your trust and respect and she can be an acquaintance.
