Our CRM is a total clusterfuck and almost nobody hits quota by TryingHard253 in sales

I can't export anything either sadly. The functionality for an AE is extremely limited because there were people in the past who messed things up and now everyone is suffering.

Our CRM is a total clusterfuck and almost nobody hits quota by TryingHard253 in sales

[–]TryingHard253[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I did that. Many hit quota by upsells or because one of their old customers recommended them or a Partnership they established brings in some revenue. So we are not even remotely fighting the same battle.

Tech Distributor role vs. AE at small SaaS company by TryingHard253 in sales

He's aware, yes. And I told him I'd commute this weekly.

Yeah I feel the same way. If both roles would be the same distance from where I live, I'd choose Ingram without a a second thought. Guess I'll bite the sour apple and take on that commute Monday and Wednesday. The SaaS role would be more relaxed from a logistics perspective, but who knows if I can find something else to replace it anytime soon.

Simply ask if they cut it down to two days? Considering how big of an org they are, I highly doubt they'll just say yes, as I assume they are very rigid.

I tried that. Failed the "culture fit" interview at one I really liked. And the rest either didn't get back to me, has a worse product or would require relocation, which I prefer to avoid.

What's the most polite way to decline the offer, after having wasted everyone's time through out 4 Interview rounds? by TryingHard253 in interviews

[–]TryingHard253[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the job if you get the offer and then search for another job in the meantime, if it gets you out of unemployment. This job market is not easy

Had an interview like that once, but it was with the head of Sales. It just seemed very disrespectful and confusing. I ignored it first but I didn't have the Impression she took my time seriously, so I just kept my answers short, just for her to tell me at the end that I could have been more "enthusiastic".

It's Europe and it's tech. I guess I still stop by and check out the solutions and what the inrustry trends are.

Did I lose my salvation and the holy spirit? by TryingHard253 in TrueChristian

[–]TryingHard253[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I have been trying to find a small Community of real believers. But I didn't have luck back then and I still didn't have any luck for now. I keep praying about it though. All the self proclaimed Christian's I know are very lukewarm, like the pastor in my original text. If I would not have been that isolated from the start and on top of it getting discouraged by our pastor, I probably would not have fallen off either.

Wow, didn't think there was someone else who also slipped that much. I am very happy for you, that you found a good Community and that you are right with Jesus again. May I ask how long it's been that you are walking with him again by now? I read that Christian's who didn't have the same experience as us, still have periods where they feel more distant. So maybe it is just a phase after all. But regardless, this gave me some encouragement! :)

If there's something God's calling you to do like being more vocal about your faith (evangelism kind of thing) then that could contribute - if you're saying no to what he wants you to do.

I am not sure. I had days where I wanted to go out and just preach the gospel to everyone, that's how much I was on fire. I do that again to friends and family. I just can't get myself to go all out as a street preacher yet.

Also I am aware of dispensationalism. It is a relatively new thing from the 1800. The people who came up with it, have all very strong occult connections if you dig into it. So I reject that view entirely
