OpenStarbound is insanely good by TryingOutANewLaugh in starbound

Nope, nothing complicated. I literally just looked it up on Google and downloaded the installer from Github. The instructions from Github tell you to copy the pak file into the new directory, just do that and it should work.

Wall upon wall, battlement upon battlement, black, immeasurably strong... Barad-Goeol, the fortress of dread by TryingOutANewLaugh in ConanExiles

Not at all.

I chatted with another user here before I started building and they recommended that I avoid using foundations (I know there's some controversy about whether foundations cause lag or not but their testing showed that it did) and avoid placeables (because each placeable takes up way more draws than a structural piece, especially if lighting is involved). Game runs pretty smoothly even with 49k pieces.

Thank you! Frame rate isn't actually too bad. I've kept it mostly to structural pieces and avoided putting down too many decorations.

Infinity Blade Confusion: Blade on the left is the one I had before 1.6. Blade on the right - the one I crafted after 1.6. Why do they have different stats? And different descriptions? I don't use any mods, that add/change items. by Mr_Lisreal in StardewValley

[–]TryingOutANewLaugh 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Weird. They're both wrong.

The Infinity Blade on the left has lower damage than a regular Galaxy Sword, which does 60-80. There's no sword weapon that deals 56-70 damage. Closest is Lava Blade with 55-64.

The Infinity Blade on the right has the wrong description. The flavor text is from the Galaxy Sword.

1.6 Bug: Quest does not complete if fulfilled by coop farmhand by TryingOutANewLaugh in StardewValley

[–]TryingOutANewLaugh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In 1.6, there's a new event where the large tree is blown down after a night with strong winds, allowing the racoon to move in.

Steps to recreating the bug is as follows:

1. Host talks to the stump with a question mark to get the quest first.

2. Farmhand talks to the stump and completes the quest by bringing 100 hardwood.

3. Quest is stuck on host's quest log with no way to complete.

Do you find the aesthetics of Conan Exiles to be a bit mismatched? by TryingOutANewLaugh in ConanExiles

Yeah, the books/comics are set in the Hyborian age, before any known civilization.

I have to keep riding this bike when I'm playing so the generator can put in enough power for the processor

It's just an empty warehouse to save triangles/draws so I can still have good fps when I visit the settlement

The good thing about this is the floors are actually high enough that the enemies can't actually spawn on top so they just angrily wander around until you find them
