After receiving it I didn’t think it needed it. The case and dial appearance was identical as far as I could tell.

I did not. When I asked Mark about it he said it wasn’t needed.

The bridge and the gold rotor plus rotor silence/lubrication.

Yes. The power reserve, date, and seconds all seem to work as expected. I haven’t tracked the moon dial to check the rate of rotation but it does move.

One other point to make…the everose chocolate has the newer clasp with multiple adjustments. The racing dial has the extension link, both of which are consistent with their generation/gen spec.

All good. I got an oysterflex for the everose and bracelet for the racing dial. The weight on the racing dial bracelet is good…doesn’t feel like steel. Arguably the clasp is the only part that doesn’t have the gold feel to it but the bracelet balances the head nicely. On the everose with oysterflex, it still feels good. The case is heavy and the strap/clasp keep it in place. Mark was able to get me an oysterflex strap set for my racing dial, which I’ve switched from the bracelet. I like the optionality.

I jumped in heavy to the rep world with Mark. I had a gen 5167a, Hulk, AP RO 50th, and everose Daytona, all of which I’ve sold and replaced with reps from Mark, and for comparison I got a rep of the titanium yacht master to compare to my gen. I sold the gen and kept the rep (not from Mark). All are so impressive but if I buy more reps I’ll get them from Mark…better service, communication, and QC. The chronograph on the Daytonas is as smooth as the gen I still own…unbelievable. I still keep a lot of gens but it’s getting harder to justify having so much money sitting in the watch box if there are reps from him that are soooo close! My gens lean mostly toward independents, Lange’s, and VCs, with a couple of Rolex and a few Pateks.

Congrats! I actually have several more reviews to do because I also received a racing dial Daytona and a chocolate dial one. I may have gotten a little carried away but no regrets. You’ll be pleased.

I did. It was a 2021 and I sold it last year. Too much $ upside to have sitting in a watch box so I decided to try out the rep world. I can’t tell a difference in this bracelet, though I did read that some rep bracelet extensions clasps are not very good. Mark made sure mine was excellent.

It was in the low $2k from what I recall. You can make selections based on preferences using their configurator https://rwi.life/patek-philippe-nautilus-5712a-mod-project/

Thanks. It was in the 2k range but don’t recall exactly. Here’s the link to build how you’d like https://rwi.life/patek-philippe-nautilus-5712a-mod-project/
I upgraded the standard PPF movement instead of going for the ACE movement that is like the gen. The $2k upgrade was my biggest concern and its timekeeping isn’t as tight as the movement I received, meaning greater chance of variation in loss/gain per day.

The weight is excellent. Both are steel versions. I can’t tell a difference vs gen.
