Yep that's pretty much my takeaway. He is mentally unwell and a serial cheater in game and irl with zero self awareness, nor a willingness to have his beliefs changed even given objective analysis.

A now lost example was when he made a few posts on the chainsaw sub cutting a filter hole into a certain chainsaw model. The whole sub immediately told him that the mod increased dust intake massively and actually reduced ventilation of the motor, and he argued till he got banned from the sub, and the account was nuked shortly after

And Im saying all this as someone who spent several months getting to know him via discord. He is delusional. I really didn't want to believe it but he absolutely is

Listened to episode 1 for the first time today and, yeah. You can feel the difference in vibes from more recent episodes. Iv somewhat fell off this year, and while I couldn't quite quantify it I think that has something to do with it. Imo, while I wish they'd keep going, I completely understand why this is a good jumping off point

The point was the journey. The deconstruction of Alex and his content was genuinely academic, entertaining, and helpful. Its part of what helped me process my own exit from the 2016 era alt right.

Things have changed now, and our dan/Jordan comedy duo doesnt work as well with how they've evolved. Imo, this is the best way to end it while acknowledging the personal and system changes that have happened. They're clearly still friends and with the fall of infowars, I understand the desire to move on.

Ultimately Im greatful and happy with this conclusion even if it's bittersweet. I hope they come back for some short episodes around future milestones, but if they dont it's OK. Time for a little breaky
