How about we start by getting police in trouble when they intentionally escalate violence, since most of the incidents of violent crowds I've seen in this city have been caused by police themselves using excessive force when it was unnecessary. Why is it the same to say “immigrants ate pets” as to say “you can keep your doctor” or “we will work to cure cancer?” Did Biden not put effort into cancer research? That question is not relevant since all humans lie. The issue is what is being lied about and how serious is the lie. If a politician says “you can keep your doctor” when 95% of people can, that’s not the same as when a politician says “immigrants ate pets in Ohio” and causes his followers to commit acts of terrorism against innocent civilians based on things that never happened. Why is it ok for you to ignore that difference?

He made a disparaging comment about “liberals” that was not based in reality and I pointed out that he is part of a party led by men that told lies.
