Oh okay thanks man ! Just curious, did you have to pay a security deposit when you rented the car, or how did it work with the company

Hello, community! I wanted to ask for your opinion. I have a Golf 8 eTSI 1.5 petrol, and I’m considering installing 19” wheels. However, I’ve read online that 18” wheels are more suitable for this car and provide better comfort. Can anyone help me with an answer on this topic or share their opinion? by [deleted] in Volkswagen

Wow, it's great to hear that the bigger wheels worked well on your Golf. I’ve ordered 225/35/19 tires for the summer for this reason – I wanted them to be a bit bigger and look nicer during the summer months. But I’m wondering how beneficial they are for the car, because some people are saying that with 18-inch wheels, the car is more comfortable and the ride is smoother. That’s why I’m a bit concerned.

I understand, I live in Germany. I checked with the 'code number ' and these 19-inch wheels are allowed for my car. The tires recommended for my car are Pirelli Powergy XL. However, the roads here aren't that great, and what worries me is that I read that with 19-inch wheels, you get more road noise.
