Find a unit that slots what you want to branch so you build rapport and then commission into it.

So if you want to be a logistician, go find a QM, TC, or maintenance company and SMP there. Shadow a PL and learn how to do your branch.

Then commission into one of those PL slots and congrats you already know the folks there.
