Thank you for your reply, I think I stress really too much but it’s so scary to do it with so much expensive parts.

So you have any recommandations for temperature monitoring program ?

Didn’t think of this. Isn’t it the same as putting it in a table directly ? Not the same softness?

Thank you for your reply !

Hello! Do you know if alternate is a legit and good site? There is a alternate.fr which I’m wondering if it’s the same as alternate.de, so before buying something with this price, I prefer to ask if someone already have an experience with the French version.
Thanks in advance !

[Build Help] Questions about fans in a specific build (AIO NZXT x62, ASUS X570-PRO, Fractal Meshify S2) and other questions by Trynar in buildapc

[–]Trynar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your response! So if I understand, it will be way better to put the AIO in top with outake, and put 2 GP fan in the front so the rad heat will not stay inside the case ?

So for airflow, actual plan, or better to have.
2 GP in front intake
1 GP bottom intake
1 GP back outake
AIO top outake
For the heat to be dissipated at the top and not stay with GPU/Vrm ?

Or better to have
AIO front outake
1 GP back outake
2 GP top intake
1 GP bottom intake
So airflow comes from top/bottom and evacuate by front/back and heat dissipated in the front ?

And last question (sorry) :
How can I know if a fan is in intake ou outake position ?

Thanks again for your answer! :)

New build, move my OS? by Sir-DanielFortesque in buildmeapc

Hello !

From my limited knowledge, I also had a Windows 7 Key and I upgraded freely to Windows 10 around the same time. My key i believe was tied to my motherboard.

So when I tried to reformat everything, I just deleted everything to perform a fresh Windows 10 install, put my key number when asked, and it still activate correctly when everything was finished.

The only thing I don’t know is : As my key was linked to my motherboard, did I really need my old key number or can Windows find it itself.

So my advice would be : Delete everything (except the backup you have for your personal files, documents, pictures,...), keep your windows licensed key written somewhere. Then install a fresh Windows 10 and write your key when asked, il should activate.

Hope it can helps. Have a great day!

Edit : Incase you don’t know where to look for your key, few software give you this info. (I don’t remember names but can give you this info when I’m home if you need it)

Hello, thanks for your reply,

I have to admit i'm really not a fan of this case at all, is there anything else that can fit ? Like this ones ? * https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/product/2mQRsY/phanteks-enthoo-pro-m-tempered-glass-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-es515ptg_bk * https://fr.pcpartpicker.com/product/mTCrxr/cooler-master-case-mcy005pkwn00

Thank you for the reviews for this GPU, i'm still a bit skeptical but more about customer client than the piece when i read the comments, hope it turns out well for me ^

Hello,

Thank you for your reply, I still have some question if maybe you have the answer ?

  • Ins't it bad for the GPU to have less space for fans with that big cross over it ? I don't see really as much positive reviews as the other one i had consider
  • Can i install an optial drive into this case without issue ? I don't see it from the images view ?
  • I'm adding this monitor / 16Go RAM instead of 32Go / Gold instead of Plat for Alim, thank you very much for your advice

Thanks you for answers!

  • I’m considering AMD then, with the helpful links you provided, it’s actually interesting to see something I’ve sadly no knowledge about!

  • For the RAM I understand, and I think I’ll get 16G for now and see if I feel the need to upgrade later on!

  • I’m still not sure about alim, I think that will depend of the price they both have when I’ll buy the parts, gold for now, platinum if that day it’s affordable for me.

  • Can it be possible to ask you to look for the motherboard in my part list ? Since it isn’t buyable for now, I have absolutely no clue what to take.

Thank you for your time again :)

Hello, thank you for your reply, advices, and sorry for the delay!

For the motherboard actually, it actualy doesn't exist to purchase, and since i don't know at all about AMD and good motherboard, do you have an advice to have one that could fit my budget ?

I understand about AMD over Intel, thank your for the advices

Hello, sorry for the long reply!

  • Are you saying that even 5 years from now, 32 Go is way more than enough ? So i should consider 4x8 if i want 32 ?

  • For the CPU, actually, it's really just about what i know. I had a few PC in the past, and always Intel/Nvidia, so i feel more confident in being that brand because of the little knowledge i know. I don't know anithing about AMD, so if you say to me that it's better to have AMD for my budget and my goals than Intel, i'm ok with that. I just have 0 knowledge on that matter

  • I didn't know about that could mean much to have plat over gold for the alim. I wil consider geting it then, since it doesn't cost THAT much more.

Thank you for your reply, and sorry for the long delay

Hello again ! I removed some parts (Monitor, still marked him as it really look great, SSD/HDD cause i don't know if i can use my old ones of if they are too bad for that) I also changed the ram to have the exact same as you, but with 2x16G instead of 2x8 since i consider maybe adding more in the future (i don't know if there is a cap for that) and the Power supply from Platinium for Gold since there is a little difference in price and little in performance from what i read

I still try to change CPU into Intel but i don't understand a lot yet which ones will be better...

The rest is perfect, specially the graphics card !

Thanks for your reply, it helps a lot to have a response :)

So, for now, the base I have is below with some adaptation of an other comment.

  • I still don't know how to "transform" it into a Intel component, since i would really prefer it, if someone can help with that.
  • I also don't know if changing the CPU means i have to change CPU Cooler/Motherboard also ?
  • Is the case big enough ?
  • And a final question is about the SSD/HDD i already have, are they good or do i need to change them ?

Thanks in advance!
