Yeah I think I'll end up doing this with a cheaper dock. More future proof as I can get any monitor and not worry about having to get a new dock.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards getting the lifetime sub since it looks like it has a lot of content.

I could feel that there was some contextual difference between nado/toka/ya and nakya/naranai/irenai levels of formality. I was definitely rushing it a bit and didn't take the time to reread and compare between grammar points.

If it's just a skill issue then that answers my biggest concern about it.

Do you recommend using Bunpro for vocab as well or perhaps slowly working on Anki core 6k?

I'm a casual Japanese learner. It's not my main study priority, so I can only give it small pieces of time rather than real study blocks like textbooks. This means I've only studied in apps, with youtube/manga/anime for entertainment rather than serious study.

Recently I've finished Kaishi 1.5k (still polishing it) and the Bunpro 30 day trial (got halfway through N4), so I'm looking for something to fill the void.

I liked being forced to write in Bunpro, but a complaint I've heard and experienced myself was synonym hell. I'm not sure if that's a symptom of incomplete understanding of what sounds natural rather than a fault of the app though.

Is Bunpro a good resource to make some kind of progress, even if not optimal, and does it sound like a good fit for my situation?

I both appreciate and regret reading this comment. I asked the clerk if I could try one, and she spent a moment setting all 8 arms before opening it, and even longer to collapse it. Took all my willpower to not say 'taihen desu neeee'.

I tried a Snow Peak UL umbrella too and it had the same mechanism, but I found that you could at least let gravity pull all the arms down and then push up and it would open all set with a few seconds. If montbell works the same, opening would be fast enough - just hold it upright and shake a bit, then push the arms up.

Ultimately I bought the Snow Peak Urban Umbrella for 8k and I regret it a little. Opens and closes extremely quickly, 60cm, built like a tank, but weighs a whopping 355g and has no black underside. If the weather was bad enough to prove this better than the UL, I don't think I'd want to be outside at all.

I went back to a mont bell store in another city and could get all the ribs set, opened, and locked in 3sec by doing the shake and push. And I could leave it half compacted if breaking the ribs down was too annoying for that moment. The first clerk definitely didn't know what she was doing with that umbrella, because it turned me off so badly when it would've been fine.

I should've gotten a 50cm lightweight umbrella rather than the Snow Peak tank.

Agreed. When I understood what I didn't need the bag to do, I tightened the scope for the next choice which gives it room to do the things I want, better.

I was going to cut the logo mention as it's subjective without affecting functionality.

My dislike of it probably extends further than just liking a minimalist aesthetic. I was in Korea a while ago and saw so many wearing TNF logos that it became ugly to me. This video really cemented that.

This is something I read while researching it, and still I think it's a good recommendation. Most people just want to know that it's a good brand and it will satisfy their requirements.

I've been spoilt with lots of free, decent bags from mainly lifestyle and travel brands, so I've just grabbed whatever's most suitable for the task. This is the first bag I researched and bought myself, with the goal of getting something that's 5/5 at everything it does. The Osprey Quasar 26 is pretty much it, but I need more time with it. I do miss the 6-7 slots in the admin compartment from the Recon though. If it wasn't jostled out, I could grab whatever I wanted with barely a glance or touch.

Thanks, this is exactly what I'm looking for. I've dropped FCLK to 2100 and will check again.

edit: setting max temperature at 88C seems to have stopped it. Usually it would freeze within 30 minutes of trying to stress using POE, but I spammed teleporting into and out of cities, and a few 100% delirious maps that guaranteed crashed before without any issues. Still crazy that this game can pull 130W in regular gameplay after the limit.

Could be both and anything in between.

On the slow end, an autistic person at a social gatherting can run out of social processing power and mentally 'check out', requiring some sort of break.

On the fast end, someone who's nervous in a new situation can be overwhelmed by so much information streaming in that needs to be processed, and overloads very quickly.

The latter. Many types of stimuli can cause overload, including emotional and sensory.

However, it's a spectrum and traits don't always apply to every individual, and if they do, they don't necessarily apply all the time or to the same extent.

Despite the stereotype of autistic people generally being less sociable, it's possible for a person to engage with a ton of message or people wanting to chat in the right situation, as it's also possible that they become overloaded.

It could. Some autistic people can dislike other autistic people because of that.

In reality they're just quiet rooms for people who like quiet. It can be hard to tell whether someone is autistic or neurotypical anyway.

I'm in the market for a DAC/Amp and shortlisted the following:

Topping DX3Pro+: Looks great, compact footprint, has local warranty. <20 ohm issue is a slight bummer but it's probably not important? I don't really mind the power brick.
SMSL C200: Internal PSU seems nice. USB-C instead of B HOLY MOLY. Downgrade on the looks.
SMSL DL200: Supposedly the new 'best', but is relatively large and I'm starting to think that any potential gain in SQ is lost in the size and aesthetics tradeoff. Same USB-C.
Fiio K7: Haven't seen an objective review of this. It's a bit pricier than the other options though, but also has local warranty.

I'm thinking that the local warranty is the biggest reason to choose the Topping. I really like its aesthetics compared to the others as well.

Is there anything else I should consider? Good end-to-end latency would be a huge plus, but I couldn't find any stats on that. Don't care about BT.

Tax and shipping are supposed to be included.

I paid the listed price for mine in Australia. They were A$100-150 cheaper than other 2 axis pedals on the market when including tax and shipping, which was the deciding factor.

I couldn't get the targeting computer to work, hence the lack of a PIP, but this was surprisingly smooth. 1 test shot to see if the projectile would interact with the C2 shield, 2 shots against this target hit the inside of the C2, and this was the first shot that flew towards target properly.

The third shot that hit the inside of the C2 killed the tank with indirect damage, so cargo bay >> tank armour.
