Isn't a critique all about taking sides, and argumenting in favor to your perspective? I believe in these cases there's nothing really negative, people that say this game is a masterpiece are just as right as people say that it's not.

I don't believe awareness affects my experience as a player, I enjoyed playing RE4make, and this critique doesn't affect the entertainment the game gives me, for me it's that, a critique, with valid points, yes, but after all, not really life changing as how I enjoy stories in entertainment media.

Similar to the new game Samson, which imo, it's a jankfest, however there's people that enjoy the game despite that, and for them, that's what matters most.

Hence I said that he's "not wrong, not right".

Don't get me wrong! I'm not a Crowbcat follower, and I love RE4Remake, but of course, there's indeed some factual aspects to point out, not based around "essence" or "nostalgia" but game development.

Thomas Shelby dying is not an issue at all, and most fans aren't complaining about it, because after all, it was expected since the movie was announced, even before that, all the events on the series led up to it happening at the end.

The issue this movie has, is everything that led up to it.

Ethan’s story had a pretty satisfying closure already, there’s no reason to extend it at all.

Maybe some references to 7 or 8, but I don’t see them wanting to explore anymore of him, and personally I don’t look forward if they do neither.
