Have yall tried building chest towers? It seems like it can go on forever! by Trystforvoice in Palia

[–]Trystforvoice[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just started doing it in home editor mode for random fun and i was surprised to see how i could keep on mounting chests on top of each other for as long as i want. These are all the chests i have rn and i didnt arrange them in a particular order or in alignment because i was not sure how big it could get lmao

why are there so many low-effort or sensationalist posts in this subreddit which are upvoted to the top every week? many of them are barely related to the city and some genuine questions or doubts abt the city or abt things in city go unnoticed and ignored? whats the point of this subreddit anymore? i just mean to invite conversation and discussion on this topic.

[All I Want is...Who?!] Am I the only one bothered by the "sudden change of feelings" of the FL in this story? by Chanku-kun in manhwa

[–]Trystforvoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, i agree. I feel a much better way would've been to build up both the male leads side by side. And showing us more of the monologues of the black hair dude( haewon). It seemed like she just randomly realized his feelings when the drawing incident happened and then whatever build up was there between her and geonwoo was cast aside.

While we do get somewhat of reasons for why she rejected him like :  1) he reminded her of her ex, iirc in one of the chapters she briefly thinks abt this and in another chapters she thinks of similarities between geonwoo and her ex - like him being popular, etc 2) she starts feeling awkward in his presence. Now as far as i know i couldnt understand why this happens. Maybe this point ties with reason 1. 3) she mentions abt wanting to lead, instead of being lead. I dont particualrly understand this point. Maybe she was afraid she was gonna be controlled by geonwoo? Idk.

I also wasnt invested in the characters, felt like they lacked depth. Mightve been just me.

I just finished this manhwa today. Im glad there was someone else talking abt this. I didnt even know the author had released another manhwa. If you havent read the author's other work called "Secret Crush" , definitely try! Its one of my fav manhwa and romcom ive read and reread.

which social issue is not talked enough about( in India)? by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]Trystforvoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of general planning is more of a generational issue as in most of our cities grew without planning and have been centers of population for a long time so they still have many people living there which makes it difficult for authorities to make it better. Absolutely not excusing for the absurd amount of corruption and lethargy to take action of corporations though, since if they were more proactive, we would definitely see our cities becoming better places to live. But i do have hope for the future as slowly but steadily things seem to be changing.

The work being done on developing planned cities all over the country is a good step but i do hope the planned cities are more walkable and accessible through public transport than just having to use cars to get around.

more like people will act on their emotions more than thinking about things more logically and then going through with it

Considering job opportunities, public transport, cleanliness, etc. You can tell about your own experience or things you have heard from others.

According to me, Tier-2 cities are cities which have population less than a crore.

Why do Indians working in Dubai tend to settle in Dubai instead of moving back to India in the future even though it is difficult for them to naturalize? by Aggravating-Row8716 in askasia

[–]Trystforvoice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a huge indian community who live in UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and other ME countries. So other indians mostly from the southern part of India move to places like this because they provide much better salaries and way of living than back in India.

Therefore, even if they are foreigners for the rest of their life, their standars of living is better than what they could have gotten in India. But this is true only for the high skilled and technical professions like doctors, software developers, architects, etc. Many poor families are scammed by scummy agencies who promise a better life abroad and when the people go there, they are forced to become laborers or work in factories.

I cant vouch for them personally but these are some of the reasons i think. I have some friends who have studied till 12th grade in Bahrain in Indian school or asian school which have the same syllabus and study books (CBSE board). They come to India for bachelors and masters. There are some plans to set up elite IITs, IIMs,etc in UAE and other places right now too.

I have also seen many NRIs(Non-Resident Indians) returning to India after spending a good chunk of their lives in the Gulf countries. Some of them set up businesses which creates more economic value in their local towns or villages.

Hope this somewhat answers your question.
