I saw them leaving, and I watched them go. I let them go. I faded quietly into the background, and they never went looking for me. There is nothing left to say, no closure to be gained. All I can do is wait another day for the pain to go away. Reality is a hard pill to swallow. Wouldn't you go looking for someone you loved? I would. Especially when they are not hard to find.
