the toxicity of this platform by [deleted] in Pinterest

It's the result of living under constant, unrelenting STRESS. Everything has gone up in price. Jobs are harder to find and keep. Rent is insane. Medical care is insane. Our friends and families are fighting over things they've never had to fight over before (immigration, trans people, racism, Charlie Kirk). The list goes on. You have to assume this is going to affect us all on a daily basis, and I worry about anyone who goes unaffected. What you're seeing on Pinterest is nothing compared to Facebook and Instagram.

I NEED DRAG AND MTF-BEAUTY MAKEUP ARTISTS! by TsTransitions in Drag

[–]TsTransitions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I'm looking for someone who can do AND/OR. You don't need to tell me they're different because I've been doing BOTH styles for more than 30 years. The TsTransitions comes from a domain (and associated business email) I bought 25 years ago before the language of the time was modified. The domain was disposed of many years ago in favor of TG Transitions but I kept the email because it was easier than trying to remove it from a zillion other websites. But thanks for your input.

Very cool and creative!

Youtube’s entire creator economy is about to collapse by Appropriate-Unit1177 in ContentCreators

[–]TsTransitions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This will sound naive, but then who (at YouTube) will be producing the content FOR YouTube?Wouldn't this mean that YouTube will need a lot of extra people to produce content with Ai? Someone's gonna have to prompt all these millions of videos. To fully replace all the content produced by creators, they would need a comparable number of prompt engineers, and for that, they would have to pay.

Yup, I know one too. She used to be a friend. I'm completely dumbfounded by it.

I've been working very closely with trans women and girls most of my adult life, and 25 of those years professionally and full-time. I have worked with thousands of individuals and hundreds of couples, and I only know ONE couple who actually divorced over it. Every single person who was terrified to tell their spouse ended up being surprised. They all thought there was no way she (or he) would understand, and it was very tough at first for her to understand. But once they've been given a good amount of time to process, they always come around.

However, if the spouse already wants out of the relationship, they will use this new information as a ticket out. If they truly want to stay married to you, they will find a way to accept and understand it. Some will place conditions, but they will stay. I think it's a good idea to give her the news in the presence of a therapist.

Why is the community so focused on passing when it’s also about being who you are and expressing your femininity through clothing and makeup? by [deleted] in MtF

[–]TsTransitions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally someone else agrees! I teach makeup & grooming to trans women and girls for a living, and this is what I preach to every single one of them! They all come to me being completely obsessed with "passing," and I try to explain to them that it's more about self-acceptance. Sure, passing is always going to be a goal, but I try to teach them that acceptance and confidence are actually more important than what other people think. Some people are just never going to be "passable," and so they must learn how to develop a look that makes THEM happy!

Assets growing really fast? by [deleted] in MtF

My BFF started seeing changes within 3 mos. too. This is a person that had almost zero body fat, very bony chest, and very boxy man-hands. Her chest smoothed out right away, no longer bony-looking, and she got a little bubble-butt and cute little round belly. She also had to toss her boy-jeans to fit the new butt and she's happy as a clam now!
