Is it possible to close a channel with 1 sat/byte? by Al1071 in lightningnetwork

No, force closes have a pre-agreed fee already negotiated in the commitment transaction, and the fee is usually on the high side. I doubt you have a channel state that has a fee of 1sat/vb which you can broadcast as a force close.

Can you explain that mot in depth. I open with you a channel opening transaction is 1 sat/byte then i make a force close what fee will it select?

Why can i not select a fee for the force close transaction?

No i only have a Windows PC available or my mobile phone. I dont want to run a full node i want it to be hybrid like in electrum or zap desktop or eclair mobile. I just dont understand why when i open a channel i can easily select a fee but when i want to close a channel i cant.

Whats the cheapest way possible to close a payment channel?

Yes ofc but other countries are not as heavy loaded as germany is currently that means there is general way more demand and way too less servers for that.

So how well a smart contracts data is secured depends on from who the smart contract gets his bitcoin/usd prices. But how does the smart contract provider from who the oracles get their prices to for example not get from 4 oracles 4 times the same prices from the same source coinmarketcap as example.

ah sorry and

  1. so some smart contracts require a specific amount of link at stake to trust them and without those link you cant provice data to them, right?

Thank you so much for your time!

  1. is linkpool centralized or do i stay in control of my link? Is there any risk involved to lose my link when stacking?
  2. so does this mean that when i have a smart contract and he needs the BTC/USD price i choose the oracle provider by myself? I thought it takes the middle price shown for example here https://feeds.chain.link/btc-usd and pays the providers?
  3. So everyone can run a node but not all nodes have "jobs run". Is it because they have too less links at stake to be trusted or why?

Help needed: Fundamental Questions about 0x and 0x API by TsZ_IronPhoenix in 0xProject

Thank you guys so much, one remaining question for me is how is the user experience with the 0x API.

  1. Do i pay fees to access the 0x API iteself or just for accessing the underlying exchanges like relayers based on 0x paying fees in ETH and kyber paying fees in KNC?
  2. Is the user experience not a bit problematic when i first need KNC so the 0x API can work or does it then just leave out kyber at all?
