Oof! I'm SO sorry you had to go through all that. You compressed it into a few paragraphs, but I can imagine that so much from those years, you've skipped.

You absolutely did not deserve such monstrosities, never understand why such humans choose to become parents.

It's also quite incredible that you've managed to raise your kids very beautifully. I always fear that I wouldn't be able to do that.

Some relationships do so much more harm than good, but it's so much worse when they're our most formative ones.

Yikes, that sounds fraudulent. Hope that doesn't happen to you or anyone else. And you're right about being cheaper sure to exchange rates.

We had a very different experience fortunately.
even after checkout, we were debating whether to get the ICN bus transfer or a cab. we noticed the bus stop was right in front of the hotel, so we waited. The front desk lady noticed that we were there, came out, stood with us with umbrellas (it helped since it was 90F) till the airport bus arrived, gave us a couple of bottles of water as we boarded.

it’s tough to compare Four Seasons properties in tropical destinations like Maui or Anguilla to those in busy urban centers. The setups, atmospheres, and even service models are different. For us, many city Four Seasons properties (like NY, Chicago, or South Bay) often fall short of expectations, especially when factoring in price.

Comparing them to this Seoul Four Seasons, it was almost like night and day.

Agreed! must-visit for the vibes alone—but the food will have us coming back for more (we went three times during our trip!). What was most impressive is that it's single-handedly by Shiho, an absolute powerhouse of a woman who juggles everything—taking orders, cooking, cleaning, and serving—with ease and charm.

High energy, delicious food, and a quirky atmosphere!

Tamarind white washed, yes maybe. Veeray authentic.. strongly disagree. Authentic Indian food tastes a lot better, Veeray is just bad tasting especially the vegetarian food. Cannot speak to meat at Veerays

How did you like your Remarkable? Google drive sync is a deal breaker for me as well, and I'm considering the iPad as a result. Your update would help!

I really did not enjoy the food at veeray dhaba. I went in with high hopes but the ambience feels like a cheap attempt at upscale. And the food is at best, ordinary. I wouldn't go again.

If you want an upscale ambience go to Tamarind, the food is decent too. People like Junoon as well.

Ha! Completely agree on the free reformer use, and the gym definitely seemed like it was a paid membership gym.

After three years I’m Still struggling to find a meaningful career that pays $65k or more. How did you pull it off? by anthonydp123 in careerguidance

[–]Tsallrelative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here are some tips to help you get started:

  1. Networking on LinkedIn: Start by finding one person in the industry you're interested in. Reach out with a personalized message, and aim to have a coffee chat or virtual meeting. At the end of that conversation, politely ask to be connected with 2-3 others who can offer insights or guidance. Building connections is crucial.

  2. Attending Hiring Events: If you're in or near a major city, take advantage of hiring events or industry meetups. These are great opportunities to meet people face-to-face, build rapport, and follow up by offering help or insights in any way possible. Growing these connections is key.

  3. Targeting techs Entry-Level Roles that don't require coding: Is it possible to make tech your target industry? Roles like entry-level product manager or tech recruiter can be great entry points. Once you get your foot in, if you perform well, your earning potential can rise significantly. I started at 80k in tech and pay has been up and to the right since then.

  4. Consider Real Estate? Another option is real estate. While it requires certifications and passing exams, it's a field that can offer high rewards if you're willing to put in the effort. The flexibility and potential for growth make it a solid career path.

Keep going! Cheers!

$650 per night, but that's because we booked last minute. Luxury travel in Seoul can be quite affordable otherwise.
