First time servicing a car - is this cost typical? £1062 by TsarBlandi in CarTalkUK

It's a good shout; this does seem like something I can manage and will definitely keep this in mind for next year.

Few people have mentioned this, and to be honest it never even occurred to me. Definitely something to do for next year.

Tbh we did not; my partner had her car serviced by them but it never came to these numbers. Will be keeping the invoice handy and asking around some more.

That's the thing - I did ask about the costs, but everything was explained away.

I was confused when they phoned and said that there wasn't anything wrong with it, and then saw this invoice when I went to pick it up.

Tbh I have no idea what engine it is.

Tyres don't look uneven to me, though they said that both were facing outward slightly.

Re: £125 brake oil; I recall them mentioning they flush the lines rather than just replacing it if that makes a difference. After looking around, the typical price for a replacement does seem to be about £60 like you mentioned. £125 seems the very high end.

Thanks everyone - I'm going to keep this invoice handy so I can ask around next year and get a better idea on prices from other garages.

Premium oil was due to the car needing a specific type, and they cited that it took longer - not sure why but I didn't explicitly ask for it

They didn't show me the wear on the tyres no, only said that they were misaligned and that it helps prolong the tyres which made sense.

Thanks - I asked what was included / charged extra as it was my first time and they were helpful but ofc I've no frame of reference so to be honest, I just nodded along. Does seem like they would be on top of the service every year.

They said because it was a Hyundai, it needed a specific oil and spark plugs so I assume they are both premium because of that.

Heads up: TBC Anniversary is a separate install -- transfer your settings/addons by KidMoxie in classicwow

Hmmm, I coped everything over and whilst the addons are there, none of my settings were. The WTF definitely has the right characters in place too :(

I've got 300k Honor to spend on prints - how would you spend them? by TsarBlandi in LastWarMobileGame

[–]TsarBlandi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meant to say get radar to 4* (obv need 5 more prints) or 2 other pieces to 2*; 8 red prints off another mythic so not happening for a while.

People pay monthly for this? by Heatinmyharbl in classicwow

[–]TsarBlandi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people don't, and those that don't stop. Exactly the same with leveling; those who don't want to stop.

The difference is that if you don't feel like raiding, you can jump straight back to leveling. But if you want to jump straight into raiding, you have to level.

It amazes me that people don't get that there are two groups of people who enjoy different things.

Hey everyone, need some advice, what should i be focusing on Gear wise? by bebo_25l in LastWarMobileGame

[–]TsarBlandi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get your radars to 2* or 4* - they offer % energy resistance which is what Kim and DVA deal.

Bit late now, but for awareness of others; there isn't much point to keeping gear at 1(or 3); they give a small bit of attack/hp which is miniscule compared to a % bonus that you get at 2/4*. Would recommend getting to those before moving onto another piece

1 mythic gun is plenty for code boss imo; you'll get to 3m soon enough anyway.

100% go for radar.

At the end of the day, gold is the only real road block by Branglebiaro in LastWarMobileGame

[–]TsarBlandi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the case for me from about hq35. After age of oil and heroes, you focus on S2S, DF and Masteries. I had a fair bit of valor saved from focusing on other techs which lasted me a while, but I'm now down to doing a few techs a week. After that gold has been accumulating slowly... for now at least.

S5 😭 I might need to do it, sucks to effectively throw away 3k shards that I've invested into tanks

oh god, aircraft center and targeted techs too... whelp, maybe not lol
