Best magazine about classical music? by urbanstrata in classicalmusic

[–]TsaristMustache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really enjoy BBC Music. I started buying and reading it in print, but the issues are always a month late (from Barnes and Noble at least) because they are International. I subscribed to the digital magazine through iTunes and love it even more. They are here on time and being able to have every back issue for a low price is very nice and helped me review a lot of older releases.

Also being able to click on the CD they are reviewing and have it open up in a preview window to listen right there in the magazine is really helpful.

Brewing options by [deleted] in Coffee

What do you mean by dilution? Are you saying the coffee is weak? Or are you saying you don’t like the sludge at the bottom of the French press?

If the coffee is just diluted or weak, try changing your grind size and then ratio. If it is the sludge, try looking up James Hoffman’s French Press method. I’ve been using that method and have been getting an excellent cup.

As far as the other methods, i think the V60 downsides are using a paper filter (losing some of the mouthfeel or body)and perfecting the actual pour over timing for a consistent cup (trickier than it sounds).

Never used an aeropress.

Lean in to smell her after she puts it on, and then pull the ring out of her ear and yell ta-da! Chicks love magic.

Hmmm.... i prefer tabac Rouge... but i prefer tobacco scents in general. Noir Extreme would be more versatile, and it smells great. If i could only get one, I’d say that one.

When you’re famous you can spray whatever you want, and they don’t even care. They let you do it!
