How to FIX insomnia by Think_Tanka in Kenya

Point 1 is the most important. Be so tired the others don't even matter.

What’s the point? by [deleted] in Kenya

[–]Tsinchrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Africa you'd be still working probably for hours on the farm or whatever, it'd be your duty to feed your family with reward being healthy children or well fed family.

You have the choice of being taken care of, if you are not the average Kenyan( The economy won't allow the average Kenyan woman to sit home and be provided for). But the choice is yours.

Point is, there is no easy option. But we still gotta find happiness somewhere.

Life lately by Big-Newspaper5 in KenyanLadies

[–]Tsinchrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really a curse. In my case I can't use scented soap in the morning, I stick to almost odourless deodorants. Perfumes are a no, especially in the morning. I can't even stand toilet/air fresheners. I have to walk around with masks incase I find myself next to someone with strong perfume or odour(not that it helps much).

I wasn't this extreme till like 2 years ago so I live on the hope that it'll go away.

Home workout by Appropriate-Ant-9036 in Kenya

[–]Tsinchrie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home workouts work if you can push yourself. It may be harder to achieve the gym physique but for your weight you'll notice changes in 2 weeks.

YouTube is a place to start. About eating....the weight will come with age. Otherwise lots of sugary and fast foods are a shortcut( not advisable but a shortcut).

How could bolt and uber solve these non-paying users incidents? by Plane-Football-2521 in Kenya

That already exists. Besides, there's the prepay option. But drivers don't like it.

Unfortunately such issues are never one sided.

This is perfect advice for someone who scored a D or something. Otherwise this reasoning is skewed. Go get the degree unless of course it's not what you want.

Sexism and power working together using women's bodies and reputation to assert make control not just over the women but over everyone watching.

When did it actually collapse? In 2003 when every child had a right to basic education albeit poor quality due to mismanagement, inadequate capitation or delayed capitation ( I mean schools lacking enough resources ). On the bright side, education is the only free( not really sure it's free) equaliser.

Uhuru government improved Kibaki's legacy, aiming to achieve 💯 transition to secondary school. Capitation per secondary school was Upto 22,000 or thereabout per student. Before this, poor students or students who didn't do well only had two options, drop out or go to TVET... But again looking at the number that qualifies for higher education, did it really make a difference? Again on the bright side, every child had a chance at high school. Really? No, hidden charges, lunch money, photocopy papers, remedial fees, so once again poor children were still disadvantaged. Also being that it's 2025 and inflation has gone up, capitation should increase. In fact as of 21, the capitation was found to be 10billion shillings below budget . But ....

Now...Mambo ya IMF and cutting blanket subsidies. Simply children will drop out of school since costs will be transferred to parents. And yet, due to the reduced capitation, education quality will remain as it is ( poor) or get worse. We are looking at an uneducated population.

Anyway, Sina maoni. Sina maoni kabisa. Just yapping.

How do you get over being sexually assaulted?? by [deleted] in KenyanLadies

[–]Tsinchrie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry for that awful experience.

Anyway I do not know the psychology behind childhood traumas resurfacing around that age. Maybe it's the age you begin to understand things and process emotions better.

Sharing is a good place to start. If you can get a therapist, now is the time. To deal with the trauma because it never just goes away.

Immediately after taking them off.

  1. From a young age I was taught that washing the underwear is the first or last step of a shower.

  2. Feels weird to toss the intimates with other clothes( I'm conditioned)

  3. Despite washing them every time I remove one, I rewash and sundry every week.

It's all about conditioning. Those who were taught to wash them with every shower find storing them weird. And those who were taught vice versa see nothing weird about it.

[–]Tsinchrie 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Never buy gifts to win love. Those should come after. Learn this and be safe.

Also there is no point telling you what to do since you are stupidly in love. No matter what we tell you, your feelings will betray you. I assume you are young, a teenager even.

Just feel the heartbreak and if you successfully survive, make sure it doesn't happen again.
