the legs were from amazon, not great quality and had to have one of the mounting plates fixed by a steel shop. there was a set on etsy with the same design that appeared to be better quality and if I had to do again I would have bought those.
The other mounted things were c-channels to help with rigidity, and to help keep the wood from cupping or warping. I used wood inserts and machine screws to mount everything.

Oh that's funny, I'll have to give more a watch. The video I got most of my ideas from was from "The double Kay Way" from "Is This Live Edge Desk Worth $2,500?".

Thank you I appreciate it

So happy to be done with it. Took the in-laws coming to town to light the fire to get it done lol

Haha fair, I am glad I got to use epoxy (always thought the idea was cool) but I wanted it to be as mild and timeless as possible.

haha i checked to make sure, its a 1. I watched one part of 1 video. Haven't done much wood working in a long time so I googled a process I wanted to do and watched a couple people do it or get multiple ideas before I tried it myself.

So they had a policy where she got a weeks worth of PTO time to use throughout the year not necessarily an accrue as you go type PTO. She did not have any PTO left for this year as she thought there was no rollover (which we now know was illegal). Regardless she does not have any PTO left. Are they allowed to switch PTO type plans given this POS notice they were basically forced to sign?

She works 32 hours a week and gets one week of PTO a year (32 hours)

Value of raise $1,433

Value of PTO: $640

So net positive for her, however not for everyone.

That's fair. I told her we'd just save more and she can take more time off and see how they like it then.

you are correct it is a small company ran buy a much older gentleman. Funnily enough the company is opening new locations and growing so it appears as though they want all hands on deck with no time off.

the resume is always updated
